Miranda was dehydrated

I haven't seen the fight, but from what I saw from his previous fights Miranda definitely needs to improve on his defense, or at least learn how to fight backwards. I'm a fan of Miranda, but I had a bad feeling about this fight. Miranda will learn from this loss and get back on track, their was nothing to be ashamed of. He fought a hell of a fight against a fighter who just better that night. This is nothing more then a minor setback, so he can get in the gym and improve on his technical skill, or at least get a new trainer.

If you have trouble making weight it proves you didn't train hard enough. But i see the excuses for that hype job miranda have come out even though he looked like a bum with **** footwork. poor slow punching and no gameplan to deal with kelly. Miranda got out classed serves him right for looking past Kelly.

i saw miranda for the first time against allan green and was not too impressed. i agree with those who say overrated. im no allan green fan (and actually i wanted green to lose that fight whiel watching it) but i believe that something was wrong with green that night and everyone jumped all over miranda.

you could go back through my posts and see that ive stated that numerous times, as a boxing fan he makes for good fights and thats all i really care about... i just knew he was gonna get his ass kicked, it was obvious, i even told people the specific reasons hed get his ass kicked including the fact that he couldnt easily make weight.

it just came down to this cause his fans were total ****heads about me picking pavlik from day one... ive made way too many posts and supported way too many fighters to sit here and listen to people telling me i could only possibly choose pavlik cause he was white... which is documented

I love how even good posters that back up there opinions well are called haters if they dare say anything negative about a fighter someone else likes. his comments on miranda were spot on. miranda is an exciting fighter,,,,good puncher but one dimensional. I knew it was only a matter of time before he got exposed

Hitman don't let it bother you too much; I bet Elite Soldier told you you were picking Pavlik because he's white. But the people out there with sense make the necessary distinctions.

As much as the overhype made me dislike Miranda, as much I would hate to make excuses and take away from Pavlik's victory, Miranda did look sluggish. Didnt look like himself. He looked tired early.

Then again, it may have been what many have said, that he was just surprised at Pavlik's strategy and couldn't deal with it. Hard to say.

Did any of you notice that Miranda was huffing and puffing and throwing arm punches by the third round? He had a problem making weight, that is a good indication that he wasn't ready for this fight. All Pavlik had to do was pressure him and run him out of gas. It is a ****** way to lose a fight, but it happened yet again.

good for him, fighters need to stop draining out themselves just to have an extra advantage in lower divisions.
