You are dumb because you're hung up in the analogy.

Did I call De La Hoya Jeff Lacy? No. I stated that in these two fights, De La Hoya and Lacy were clearly the bigger punchers. However, being a big puncher shouldn't score points unless you LAND EFFECTIVE to utilize that power. And sorry, but when you're the bigger puncher, and your jab is your most consistent and best punch of the fight, you are not winning and not utilizing the power advantage.

So, genius, anymore points that complete kabashes your opinion you want to ignore, or am I done here?

it made it seem like he was more active than oscar but he did not land as many punches as people think.
no it doesn't make it look like floyd was more active. it makes it look like he threw more clearly landed punches on oscar. thrwoing a jab is not a power punch, so it can't cause a fighter to look that active unless they throw in bunches. floyd did catch oscar with a lot of jabs, even if he threw them with hardly any power. he still landed. he didn't land many of them, but he did land a lot of them, and they were in clear view of the judges. i've watched the fight in slow motion about 5 times now, floyd landed a lot of jabs.

Who knows? Maybe if DLH stuck to the jab Mayweather would have adjusted and countered it? I think it was effective because DLH used it so sparingly...

Nope, because after the 6th or 7th, Floyd began countering the jab with a straight right down the pipe and popping Oscar. He stopped throwing his jab because he was fast enough to stop the straight right and right hook from Mayweather.

Basically, neither guy showed their best stuff. Floyd was scared to engage, and Oscar was scared of Floyd's speed. The right decision was rendered, although I could have seen a draw. Many rounds were very close. Oscar could have jabbed more and possibly won the fight clearly. Who knows...

In the meantime, suffice to say, Floyd needs to keep fighting. His legacy is lacking at this point in time. But if he is happy, more power to him for retiring.

That was a boring fight. No engage. Dela Hoya was the champion and was attacking and Floyd keeps running. Floyd Mayweather does not sell because of his fight style. That's why UFC is the best with no controversial judges decision. Only MANNY PACQUIAO can live the hype of boxing nowadays. I regret buying the PPV good there was Bautista fighting.

i really don't know because floyd adjusts to his opponents very well. oscar may have or may not have, that's a matter of specualtion and would've, could've, sould've but didn't to me. i'll tell you this though, if oscar thrw the jab more than he did, don't you think floyd would have changed his gameplan?

If he would have boxed and used his jab, and took his time when he had Floyd on the ropes he would have won the fight.... You dont have to like the guy but anyone who likes boxing has to respect what he has done from 130 to 154 and as little as 1.5 years ago he was at 135... As someone who enjoys boxing that gets respect....
i bet you he won't respond to this with anything of real importance. you clearly just owned that guy, great point.
