i think that the best hw fight that could happen at the moment is if Peter and Ruslan (when healthy) fought. Wlad and Nikolay would be good but not as exciting as the two heavy hitters

As ive said the only fighters worth our time are Wlad and Chagaev.....all the other ones suck...and i hope Vitali "The whining *****" Klitschko loses to McCline, we dont need more old men....

Wladimir is far better than his brother...

Chagaev and Wlad are great but dont count out peter now, he does have some bad stamina but the guy has to be one of the best heavyweights of the decade. (not saying much)

I agree. If Peter comes in in good shape, there's no way he can lose to the 38 year old Maskaev. But if he's overweight Maskaev, who's a decent boxer and is always in excellent shape, may defeat him.

Since he's waited so long and wants a title so badly, I can't imagine Peter will be out of shape for this one. I just hope Maskaev doesn't get hurt too badly.

Peter is not that bad he looked better against toney 2nd time and had a better jab, I cant believe what he said after the fight if I remember he said that it was the first time he had bothered to run during training.

yea something like first time he was dedicated to road work and actually working on boxing skills, but I just thinks its going to go out the window against Maskeav and turn into a slug match, might be a good fight though

                1) The return of Vitali, and his fighting the winner of the Peter-Maskaev fight later this year.

                2) The improvement of Wladimir Klitschko since he's been working with Manny Steward the last couple of years, and the upcoming fight between he and Brewster.

                3) The new talent, such as Chambers, Povetkin, Dimitrenko and Boytsov. The potential of young up and coming boxers such as Greenberg, Chapman, Witherspoon and others.

                4) The new titleholder Ruslan Chagaev - undefeated as a pro, after an excellent amateur record.

                5) The improvement of Samuel Peter, evident in the difference in his two fights with James Toney.

                6) David Haye fighting at heavyweight.

                7) Sultan Ibragimov, former Olympic Silver Medalist, becoming WBO champion, undefeated as a pro.

                8) There still remaining a lot of tough veterans such as Rahman, Brock, Brewster, Bryd, Krasniqi and others.

Number 6 is the reason why i think heavyweight boxing will become great again.

What about Mike Mollo. You think this guy is a real contender if he beats Golota, and on the other side of that do you think Golota would be able to beat any of the current title holders and get a title shot if he beats Mollo?

yeah there are some good fighters coming up now and hopefully haye can win a title.
