To be fair he is lauded as one of the best heavyweight britiain has produced lol, P4P Britian was not good as US, Mexico however, now an arguement can be made there, what about Cuba! (My Mum is half cuban) if we were allowed to turn Pro i think we could do some real damage on the boxing scene.

Mind you i think Casamayor, the fighter who should be p4p and who keeps gettting robbed in fight and of his titles, the champ at 135 (i think) the guy Morales didnt wanna fight at 135 for his last fight, he is cuban.

Good point. Only the best HW contests are in the good ole US of A.

Over history they have been, i think,

Its only cos the heavyweight division is full of these overhyped euro-bums that some of the fights get done in Germany, where fighters get consistently robbed and careful matchmaking is an artform.

The USA is where the biggest fights are held, but no, if a fighter fights HoF fighters then he can be called elite wherever he fights.

I believe the phrase you were looking for is "world title holders".

Of course historically they have been, and that's exactly my point. The US might have been the mecca as recently as 10 years ago but things are much more different now.

Don't kid yourself. No one knows who the **** holds any of the titles except Klitschko maybe. He is the only one capable of having a decent turnout in America.

Just cos you are a world title holder doesnt mean you are not a bum.

                  Examples.

                  Valuev
Audley Harrison had the WBF belt
Brian Magee had an IBO belt

Actually, just look at Frank Warren's stable, most of them are ****in bums who can only win the WBO title. lol.

So the fighters are fighting where they can get the biggest audience and biggest purse. And it isn't in America.

                    Which was my point.

Well then I'm sure most Americans are thankful we are no longer the "mecca". We get real champs fighting here. Let the trash fight outside.
