America is the mecca of boxing i guess. They have a history of producing great boxers. But why shouldnt they? They are a bloody big country so rightly they should have some good boxers. Little England on the other hand have 2 boxers in the top 10 p4p so on that basis England are on the whole doing not to bad wouldnt u say.

also the most important thing in boxing and without it boxing is nothing is the fighters and america isnt the mecca of boxing for that, not that great fighters havnt come out of america, but modern boxing anyway

lol I think England are p4p better than the US when you think of how small England is. We have a history of upsetting Americas best. Randolph Turpin whupping SRR. Loyd Honeyghan mugging Don Curry. Nigel Benn smashing Barkley and Dewit in America. And then beatin g Mcellan back in little England.

The U.S. is where most of the money are poured in. So for the most part, yes. In terms of money. In terms of greatness, a lot of people will argue otherwise.

Of course the US is the Mecca of boxing.

Of course you can be an elite fighter without fighting in the US. Exposure and money doesnt make you an elite fighter, the quality of your opposition and the manner of your victories do.

If you fight enough great fighters without fighting in the US, then you have to be considered elite, regardless of where your fights took place.

usa is the "mecca of boxing"
but only because usa is the biggest market in the world.
floyd mayweather can earn 8m fighting baldomir in america , he cudnt get $8 for fighting him in england
ricky hatton could get 5m fighting castillo in the men , hel only get half of that fighting in america.
so on that summary your right but to suggest that any fight thats considered to be an elite fight has to be on american soil is bollux
2 of the biggest fights in heavywieght history never happened in america
