I agree that he won the fight(robin reids exact words) The announcer even told reid that one judge had it for him, but reid ignore that fact and thinks that joe won the fight. Plus, I heard something about that one reid judge having connections with reid(don't know if thats true, just a rumor I heard, wouldn't be surprised since all the judges scored the fight ridiculous. The fight was alot closer then what the scores had it on both sides) Reid could have said many things that night instead of agreeing with the announcer that he thought joe had rightfully won. Like Reid could have sat there and said he agreed with one judge, but he won't fight about the decision. Nothing like that came out of his mouth, the complete opposite did. He gave joe respect and said what was on his mind.

And it was caught on video, so obviously reid was hurt enough in that fight to think joe had it won. As, I said before I think joe landed the more meaningful shots which is why reid hs a cut on his face. And that this is probably the only fight of joe's that I think he deserved to give the opponent a rematch, don't ask me why he didn't maybe something about reid's style he didn't like. Or maybe its because frank warren makes the decisions not joe.

Roy Jones would have zero chance against Calzaghe at this point. Don't fool yourself. This is a joke of a fight, but makes perfect sense financially becuase Jones would get one last payday and Calzaghe would get a "name" on his resume. This would be a perfect bout for Joe to make his Vegas debut. Huge money and easy fight for him.

        Yup, he says it

After this Reid did call him out on BBC so many times saying he won and that he was robbed, seriously.

And to keep this thread on topic, only way Calzaghe -Jones happens is if he goes to the US and fights jones

Which he should do rather than fight Kessler Or Ikin

Jones might actually be able to attack him from different angles and in exchanges Jones is one of the few guys who can match hand speed with Calzaghe, and it helps Jones that Calzaghe is not a huge puncher.

even a shot roy could put up a better fight than manfredo, RJJ would get outlanded but he has a chance because roy still has just enough handspeed left to trade with joey. calz can't really hurt roy with those slapping punches but he can easily outpoint him and make him look bad. RJJ could have knocked tarver out in the 3rd figth if he'd been willing to let his hands go, he had no problem hitting tarver, i don't think he'd have a problem hitting calzaghe, but roy would get swarmed as soon as he opens up. i don't think this fight will happen anyway

I'll go completely against what dr filth just said. If this fight happened NOW IN THE YEAR 2007, calzaghes so called "slaps" will knock jones on his ass. And he'll win by a ko, not even a tko if the ref isn't a *****. I hate tko's, they should allow these boxers who want to keep fighting on like meatheads to get knocked on their asses.

It would be sadder to see a great like roy get his face slapped hard as hell a million times.

Roy does realize that he is the underdog in this fight. And his fans are using the excuse that roys not in his prime anymore. So, if the fight did manage to happen. Once joe kicks the crap out of him, more excuses will be thrown around about roy not being in his prime. Roy lost to tarver because he wasn't in his prime!!! hahaha lol... some roy fans... maybe its cause styles make fights and roy couldn't handle southpaw tarver

Joes no Ottke. You're avatars ******ed. Ottke never put on a performance like joe did to lacy, eubank, woodhall, bika, and so on. Joes the real deal. Now only if this old man named roy didn't price himself up so high would this fight have half a chance to happen
