      To be a true legend in my eyes he has to reign supreme at 140 or 147 over the CURRENT threats not old superstars that means beating cotto, margarito, Joshua Clottey, and hatton for good measure.

        These four names should be enough to dispell any suggestions he dont fight people.

        What about the people that won't fight mayweather?

        Moesley= 'Toothache'
        Hatton = 'One More fight'
        Cotto= 'Bob arum wont let me'
        Winky Wright = 'I want 50/50 to fight floyd,but then im gonna go and fight Jermain Taylor for less than 50/50'

        lol.

You're right about Oscar, he didnt do that to win the Tito fight, all he did was run and he lost as a result. Floyd has never ran, if you think he jabs 3 times and run I don't think you've ever seen him fight at all.

          Also, it's such a double standard that if Floyd beats Oscar people won't give him credit, because those are the same people that said if Oscar beat B-Hop it would make him legendary. B-Hop was 7 years older than Oscar while Oscar is just 4 older than Floyd, and the size disparity is larger between Floyd and Oscar than between Oscar and B-Hop. People said if Oscar lost it wouldn't affect his legacy because he fought a larger man, but if he won it would add to it immensely. Those same people say if Floyd loses, then it will be obvious that he was never that good. Very contradictory if you ask me.

          If Floyd beats Oscar at 154 it will make him one of the top 10 or maybe even top 5 GOATs IMO. This is a man who could still fight at 135, who shut out the undisputed welterweight champ (a weight class he has no business being in) and is now jumping to 154 to fight a guy who has been there since 2001, when he himself was at 135. If anyone thinks that beating Oscar doesn't make him at least a top 10 ATG, they either are pure haters or blind to his talents. There is no way a guy as little as Floyd should be given a chance against a guy Oscar's size, however, due to his otherworldy skills, Floyd is the favorite in this fight. This shows how good he is in that people don't even think about how far off from his natural weight he is fighting in, because his skills are so amazing that he is still the favorite against a much larger man. Just talking about this fight and his chances shows what a legendary talent he is, because his size disadvantage is enourmous, now, when you then realize he is the favorite of this fight, it's just a testament to how special this guy is.
          Ditto that

            People fail to realize Mayweather is the most ducked fighter in all of boxing today. We could have seen Mayweather-Mosley instead of Mayweather-Baldomir last year, but Mosley didn't want it...

                  When all has been said and done if PBF beats DLH i will look at PBF in a different light. I will consider PBF a legend in the same way i do SRL and Duran. Legends fight everyone and dont duck noone. To top it off he would need to go back down to 147 and fight Hatton. After Hatton he can do as he pleases as far as i am concerned. But i would like to see him against Mosely for good measures.

                    I think that a lot of hate will be wiped away if he fights and beats DLH, Hatton and Mosley. But in order for him to do that Hatton and Mosley need to stop finding reasons not to fight him. Nobody can say that Floyd hasn't tried to fight these 3 guys for a while now. Its funny that ever since he started talking about retirement Hatton and Mosley all of the sudden want to fight him.

                      bottom line is a legend would not be an active fighter.......you can't be a hall of famer if you are not retired from the sport so will floyd be a future legend ?
                      probably yes we will see after his retirement..........
