Joes overall. Hopkins has done well of late though. But he aint the best middleweight of all time. Joe is the best supermiddle of all time.

Actually, Johnson was at his peak. But much like Hopkins, he's become more resourceful over the years, thereby able to outlast the pack and still hover around the top a decade later.

For what it's worth, the Johnson fight was also Bernard at his absolute best. Anyone who claims B-Hop was still in his prime in 2001 needs to peep this fight. The Trinidad fight made him a superstar, but the Johnson fight was his most complete performance.

I don't think you should compare middleweight, a division which has been around for over 100 years, to super middle, a relatively new division...

Pretty much. Hopkins's is better - which I'm sure $iN knows, this is very much an agenda-based poll - but it's still nothing to write home about in the grand scheme of things, is it? Relatively speaking, that is.

I think that if there were an option for "Its almost too close to call" that one would've won by a long way.

I'd give the edge slightly to Hopkins at the moment as his big fights were bigger than Joe's so far. However, Joe is still defending his title. Hopkins lost his.

I was going to vote Hopkins, but this is the proper answer.
