Kessler - Andrade was a exciting fight. 2 of the best in smw. "the unknown in US" is becoming a mega star in US, when Calzaghe keep on talking **** on every body. HBO next demand of a mega fight is Kessler - Calzaghe. Then in front of the hole world the boxing fan will awaits Calzaghes answer?.

Who is trying to compare their careers?

Kessler could compare/range above many of the guys on Calzaghe's record, isn't that what we are talking about?

Andrade isn't close to being one of the best Supermiddleweights.

If Calzaghe doesn't get one of the fights he's after next (Taylor, Winky, or Hopkins), and still doesn't fight Kessler, then it's clearly a flat out duck...

Well, your fellow Danes have certainly been comparing the careers and saying that Calzaghe has never fought anyone of Kessler's quality.

I would ever so slightly disagree with that.

I hope the fight happens though, but it's only 4th choice on my list. More importantly, it's probably only 4th choice on Calzaghe's list.

I would ALMOST agree. Depends on who he fights instead. Theres more money and perhaps more credibility in fighting Woods or Dawson and Calzaghe seems like he's been struggling to make the SMW for years. Plus it would allow him to be a two division champion, which is quite a big deal. On the other hand, a fight with Froch would shut people up about that (Froch has been pretty much calling out Calzaghe from his first fight) and would likely mean more money to him too. I'd prefer to see him fight Kessler than Froch, but anyone else on that list and the one you've mentioned is fair enough as far as I'm concerned.

If he doesnt fight any of them after Manfredo, I'll be disappointed.

                This fight (Kessler-Andrade) is a set-up for Joe-Mikkel.

I think that HBO subliminally tries to set up big fights. Joe is in peril of looking like he's ducking Kessler, if he doesn't act on this.

The mainstream public will eat HBO's words and think that the Kessler-Calzaghe fight is imminent. If it doesn't happen, well.....

I was more confused by how the Kessler/Andrade fight was a set-up for a Calzaghe/Kessler one.
