And as far as your greats list up above, the only 1 really capable of contending with Floyd is pernell. Duran and the buddy mcgirt would get arturo Gatti-ed. SRL showed you how to beat Duan the No mas fight!
Floyd ducked Casamayor and Freitas at 130. Most people do not remember this because he was not a big name at that time but he would not even mention any of there names in Interviews. Not once. He is extremely selective with his opponents - much like Roy Jones which is why he fought guys like N'Dou, Bruseles, Mitchell.

Anyone also rememember when he walked away from a deal with Casamayor for 3.7 million and instead fought Sharmba Mitchell.

I am questioning his greatness because he has fought limited opposition. How great would Michael Jordan have been if he had played the Clippers every game. It took other great players to bring out the best in MJ and it is the same way with PBF, but since he and the RJ's of the world manage to get to selective, their stock goes down and people like ME start to criticize.

And please never compare Gatti to Duran. Gatti is a punching bag. Duran is a top 5 fighter all-time. No questions asked.

It's really hard to say if his boxing skills are ATG, but everytime i see him fight he reminds me why he is so good. His foot speed, footwork, and hand speed are not matched by to many people in boxing now. I know he hasn't faced the big time competition that some people have, but when you watch fights like the Corrales, Gatti, and Baldomir fights you have to be impressed with Floyd because he barely gets hit and totally outclasses his opponent.

And it is easy to show your skills against limited opposition. Pernell fought the best of the best from 135 to 147. Who could forget Pernell just beating the piss out of a 6'0'' Mcgirt (Whitaker is 5'6'' by the way) in the first fight. The second fight he stood his ground and traded with Mcgirt. It was a much closer fight then anticipated. Or the fight against Chavez? Tell me some fighters who won 10 rounds against a prime Chavez? Even the coked out Pernell Whitaker made, at the very least, a close fight with a raw, hungry Oscar DelaHoya. Floyd didn't even fight the top guys at his best weight.

And Roger was an incredible offensive fighter, btw. Great combination puncher. It is your overall package that makes you a great pro. Not just great skills. Roger obviously had alot of weaknesses but his skillset was good.
McGirt was 5'6. Where do you get 6'0 from?

Floyd's skills are undeniable. He doesnt have the best competition, but his skill set is up there with most fighters. It seems you are just bitter towards Mayweather, which I dont blame you.

I have heard some people say he was 6'0''. Look at the fight with Whitaker. He was dwarfing Pernell. He is probably not 6'0'' like I mentioned but around 5'8'' - 10''-ish.

i think mayweather is a better fighter then whitaker. He's better all around.

Im not gonna say Mayweather has better or more impressive defensive skills, but mayweather can punch pretty hard and he's got lighting fast hands.

hes just a more all around talent. He does nothing bad, or even just good.

And you gotta remember, his most recent fights, like his last 5, have all been outside his natural weight

No, no he didn't dwarf Whitaker, and no Mcgirt isn't 6'0 tall.

Why? Because you said so. Watch the fight and then tell me the height difference. Keyboard Jockey.

the height difference wasnt much at all.

Whitaker stands in a crouch, Mcgirt stands straight up.
