Jim Lampley was all over MABs balls. JMM did enough to win the fight by at least 3 points. I couldn't believe what I was hearing during the HBO commentary. Lampley is always this biased with the house fighter, watch MAB vs Morales 3, Mayweather vs Judah (first 4 rounds) just to name a couple. It seems they have a fixed agenda at times, after all this is a business.

It's no surprise. Barrera is one of Lampley's favorites, and Lampley is a true nut-hugging commentator.

I have to disagree with the scores though... 118-100, 116-111, 116-111... I thought the fight was closer... I thought it was 115-112... 114-112 with the knockdown...

according to ********* all the judges gave the 7th round 10-9 for jmm, so what are bitches crying about that round, the judges obviously saw that marco knocked down marquez and thats why they gave him a draw minus the point deduction.....

          116-111 Marquez.

IF U HAD IT 115 -112 WITHOUT THE KNOCKDOWN THEN WITH IT IT WOULD OF BEEN 114 113 FOR BARERRA...UNLESS U JUST MAKE UP YOUR SCORES OFF THE TOP OF YOUR HEAD WITH NO CREDABILTY

What the hell are you talking about mate? What do you mean thats why they gave him a draw minus a point. It was a ****ing draw anyway regardless of the knockdown! JMM hurt Barrera and was catching him but it wasnt a 10-8 round! Barrera was still throwing throughout the round! Just cause you hurt a guy doesnt mean it should automatically be a 10-8 round!!!!!!!!!

Very true. It was the knockdown which made the difference for me! If it was 10-8 for Barrera I had him winning the fight!

Best post of the thread. Watch that fight and note the absolute ball-salivating by Lampley, he can't wait for the fight after party so he can canoodle Barrera's nuts till the early morning. It was a super-close fight, but Lampley sees it as only one way. Saturday night was even worse, you'd think Barrera was actually winning the fight near the end the way it was being described. It really started to **** me off. As I've said before, I used to like the way they'd amp up the fight, but the biased commentating overrides that now and I just wish they'd shut the **** up. The British commentary is so much better at the moment it's ridiculous. May not be as witty or as entertaining, but completely neutral and just pure fight fans with no agenda.
