I was in shock how much Lampley and Steward were hugging M.A.B.'s balls when he was clearly getting beaten to the punch over and over.

They went as far as to say Barrera was the one beating Marquez to the punch. That wasn't the case....JMM dominated that fight.

I watched the fight in the philippines with pinoy commentators and they are bias in favor of JMM haha!!

I don't know how people score fights but there should be some sort of re-education. I like both guys and have no bias towards either, but it's ridiculous when people cry "robbery" because the fighter they thought won spent the entire fight backing up throwing arm jabs.

Marquez stalked Barrera and won the second half of the fight easily. I thought he won 2 of the first 4 rounds to top it off.

He landed the crisper, cleaner power shots and got the better of the exchanges ducking low....while Barrera missed and got clocked Lampley would scream "HUGE LEFT HOOK BY BARRERA" when Barrera's head was in the process of being fully snapped back.

I think he was just replaying Morales v.s. Barrera over again in his head, that's my only logical explanation. He just wasn't ready to see M.A.B. dominated like that.

Thats another nutugging bit from the commentators. Stewart said Barrera was landing the better blows because of the look of Marquez face. Uhhhh, what about the fact that his entire career Marquez has always cut and swelled easily while the opposite is true of the tougher-skinned Barrera?

I agree it was a close as hell fight. I had it barely for Marquez because, to my eyes, he threw more clean combos and was predominantly the aggressor. Still, the one-sided nut hugging by the HBO crew for Barrerra was just as unfair as the judges lopsised dec for Marquez.
