I don't know how people score fights but there should be some sort of re-education. I like both guys and have no bias towards either, but it's ridiculous when people cry "robbery" because the fighter they thought won spent the entire fight backing up throwing arm jabs.

Marquez stalked Barrera and won the second half of the fight easily. I thought he won 2 of the first 4 rounds to top it off.

He landed the crisper, cleaner power shots and got the better of the exchanges ducking low....while Barrera missed and got clocked Lampley would scream "HUGE LEFT HOOK BY BARRERA" when Barrera's head was in the process of being fully snapped back.

I think he was just replaying Morales v.s. Barrera over again in his head, that's my only logical explanation. He just wasn't ready to see M.A.B. dominated like that.

I think he's the one that brings this two nuthuggers to their senses whenever they are excited lol! I thought the fight could have gone either way and I thought Barrera commited a major infraction in the 7th which made him look bad to the eyes of the judges. At any rate, the judging sucks. It could have been a split decision or a majority decision or even a draw and the margins of the outcomes are simply ridiculous.

See, even if the knockdown counted....it was still an even round because of the point deduction. I thought it was legit, but Marquez won every single round after that knockdown. The reason why the fight was lopsided on the judges cards....was because they scored the round possibly 10-7.

I agree that juan manuel almost stopped marco int 7th but ironically it was marco who knocked juan manuel down at the end of the round. I thought round 6 belongs to marquez and marco may have won 2 rounds from round 8 - 12. I say it was very difficult to see who's winning in those rounds because they are so close that each round could have gone either way. Well, depending on each person's bias.
