I agree that Jermain needs to fight the best middleweights out there- and I don't think Mora should be on that list. If it wasn't for the contender I don't see how Mora would be seen as a real threat to Taylor, or any of the division's top dogs. He's a product of marketing. I hope Jermain moves on and fights someone more dangerous.
Mora Pulls Out, Jermain Taylor-Cory Spinks Next?

I can't believe Mora backed out of this because he didn't like the city. Sounds like BS to me. If you want to fight the champ, you fight on the champs terms. That's how it has always been. Turning down a fight of that magnitude is a horrible decision, unless his camp just knew they couldn't possibly win. I'd also like to see Taylor fight a real middle-weight. Taylor is not a particularly crafty boxer, so maybe Spinks would have a shot by being overly cautious and fighting smart?Comment

Taylor can only beat Mora by home town decision...that is why taylor doesn't want to fight in neutral ground .....now he wants spinks ....Taylor is a joke and deserves to be ignored by HBO and Showtime...I doubt the networks want to see Taylor not fight Mora...It would have been big ratings because Alot of people either hate or love Mora. and everyone wanted to see what would happen...Comment

I know, people will never shut up. Jermain is the ****in champ, he decides what he does and so far he's fighting a hell of a lot better comp than b-hop did.Comment

The Mora fight didn't interest me and niether does a fight with Spinks.Spinks began his career at 140.He is too small for Taylor.I'd like to see Taylor fight one of the other champions.Abraham or the winner of Sturm-Castillejo.Of course a rematch with Wright is good as well.Comment
