    Sounds like words of wisdom to me. Did you get a bit paranoid one day when you realised you didn't like men that take **** in the ass and all of a sudden thought to yourself;

"if I don't like men that take it in the ass I MUST be gay myself !"

And that was the day you freaked out and you became a gay loving ***** just because of the paranoia that built up within.

    lol great logic you ****head

You're such an annoying little *****. It's obvious you hate Barrera because of how he exposed that overrated loud mouth Princess Hamed. Whether or not Barrera avoided Pacquio pales in comparison to the ***** move that Hamed pulled after running back to England once MAB ****** that hook nose of the Princess off the turnbuckle and gave him a boxing clinic.

        Johnny Tapia
        Kevin Kelley
        Manny Pacquiao
        Paulie Ayala
        Erik Morales (again)

all in a row. Thats pretty tough fights to take all in a row like that. He then took his mandatory which means he had to do it or his title would be stripped against Mzonke Fana. He unified the tites with Robbie Peden after that.

Then he was in grueling fight with Rocky Juarez. Many people said stay away from a rematch, Barrera is done. I remember the HBO announcers saying Barrera should avoid a rematch after that fight too. What does he do? He fights Juarez again and erases all doubts. Thats a man right there.

and then his next fight is against who? One of the best fighters and most avoided fighters of this era, Juan Manuel Marquez.

Barrera fights in a lot of tough fights back to back.
        Kevin Kelley?

The guy was shot. If not shot, then badly past his prime. HBO caught some flack for having that mismatch on.

Jesus Salud? The guy who lost to Kelley and then beat nobodies for 3 years?

Johnny Tapia was a decent win. He did his better work in lower weight classes, and was given a gift against Manuel Medina in his previous fight. Barrera probably wanted to be nice and give his friend a nice payday so he fought him.

Barrera is given credit for the Rocky Juarez fights because he struggled more than expected in the first fight, making Juarez look better (maybe he was underrated before hand). Before the fight, people were saying it was a mismatch. Juarez was stepping up big time in class. He had gotten lucky against Zahir Raheem and lost to Humberto Soto. If Barrera had taken care of him the first time like he did the 2nd time, the way he was supposed to, people wouldn't give MAB as much credit.

I don't hate Barerra I just rate Morales higher than him. Barerra's win against Naz is the only reason you lot suck his balls yet you are minipulating this against me and using it as a scapegoat as to why you think i'm bitter towards Barerra which has nothing to do with it.

Had Morales fought Naz and lost I would STILL rate him over Barerra.

          Zimme?

I don't think too many people who watched Julio Cesar Chavez back when he was active and dominant would consider him overrated. He was tough as a mule and a sight meaner. He'd gladly walk through anything anyone cared to dish out just for any opportunity to respond in kind. He ducked no one. And he dominated for nearly a decade before his incredibly prolific fighting schedule finally caught up with him.

The guy was a throwback to a different era and was widely and appropriately loved for it.

Great post. Chavez is sadly looked down on by most people for his light non title fights. He fought and beat the best pretty easily for years. He is becoming increasingly underrated.

every great champ in history has fought bum fighters in their majority fights...look at tito trinidad, cotto,de la hoya..gayweather,hopkins,hatton and the list goes on and on...they all have fought 1 or 2 good contenders but the vast majority were bums,.,,that's is how promoters convince you to pay for ppv...by hyping boxers up

Willie Pep has 229 wins but, only 27 are against guys that were ranked. Why dont we criticize him?
