I think it had something to do with his footwork.

He seemed frustrated and out of rythim or something. He's a pretty technical fighter in his own style.

How in the **** is HBO pampering Miranda when he's fighting guys like Allen Green. I had serious doubts about Pantera winning at all, and I'm a fan. Green is a World class fighter, who had much, much more than a puncher's chance.

I hate how people think HBO does these things on purpose. They air the fights that the people want to see, in order to gain money.

if the guy deserves the hype, they give him the hype. Miranda deserves the hype.

They arent going out of their way. If the guy earns a fight with taylor, he earned it. Hbo didnt give it to them.

Some of the things people think of HBO are so rediculous

I felt it was very clear that Green was trying to play it off that he wasn't hurt but that it was a balance issue. Fat chance of pulling that off.

lol is that what it was?

He looked stable untill the final seconds where he was getting knocked out. before than big shot came....he was actually on balance and kept looking down after throwing a jab like he forgot everything he learned in sparring.

Did you notice him checking his feet the whole fight? I think something was up.

It has to be hard fighting a guy like Miranda who comes in with his head down swinging. It gives you no target except for his body unless you can catch him with a short punch coming forward. Easier said than done against a guy with his reach and punching power for his weight. Since he's built like a rock it makes that even more difficult to pull off that attack.

Green showed how someone can beat Edison and that's by picking their shots and following up on them (which he didn't). I thought Green did a good job for a while and I was in the minority I suppose. He fought exactly how I thought he would, and lead with the left hook landing bombs. He only landed three the whole fight and one of them floored Edison. He was far too laid back.

I personally never thought Green had a chance.

Remind me not to hire you if I ever become president of a television station. You think they just wait and see what happens? I'm not saying fights are frequently 'fixed'; those claims annoy me too. But if you think they don't have longterm marketing strategies . . . .

Green has fast hands and usually great footwork/balance. You didn't see much of it last night. Whether that was because of Miranda or Green, I don't really know.
