I'm not wrong. Compare the likes of Kessler to Hopkins, Wright and Taylor...even Manfredo. A fraction of those fans know who Kessler is compared to the other guys. I'm talking lamen fans here, the ones who make up the majority of the pay per view buys, not the ones who come on the internet to read about boxing. Most of those guys dont even know of Kessler's existence, let alone consider Calzaghe's career to be worse off by not having taken a fight with him. Hell, a load of them probably only know Calzaghe cos of the Lacy fight, which is why Calzaghe is having to raise his profile too.

Junior Witter isn't exactly te most popular. Not many people outside Yorkshire know who Clinton Woods is. Chris Eubank was hardly the most popular.

      Audley Harrison was hated.

These are just a few examples.

Hatton and Calzaghe have very loyal and widespread support, but to be honest they're pretty exceptional in that regard.

Yeah, Kessler isn't as known but Joke isn't fighting Taylor, Wright, or Hopkins right now. Kessler is a good choice since the other 3 are not available. If Calzaghe beats Kessler, he goes down in history as one of the few fighters to unify that division...

Again, I feel like I'm starting to repeat myself here. He isnt fighting those guys not through choice. He is having to get into a position where he makes the fight too good for them to refuse. By building a profile, thats what he is doing.

neither harrison nor witter have proven themselves to be world class fighters and great champions. Eubank was world class i agree.

I'd hate to get Juy Juy masturbating even more, but Eubank should be in the Hall of Fame really.

i'm sick of joe calzaghe, he's a ****y ****... his only notable victory in a more or less, lackluster division, was against a guy who was taylor-made for him. he needs to get over himself. he hasn't done nearly enough nor fought enough people good enough, to be boasting like this. he'll fight jermaine taylor and get his ass smoked. bottom line

Like me he's undefeated and a very good fighter but Kessler is not proving himself against top names

^^^^^^^^^ **** man, where have i been the past 10 years, where are all these top names joe has been fighting? ohh i must mean Chris Eubank , jeff lacy.................................*thinks*..... .....*fones friends to ask who joe has proved himself against thats a top name* ohh yea, NO ONE lol Winky Wright prob one of the most ducked fighters of the past 10 years lol if it wasnt for sugar shane bein the man he was we would prob still not see Winky get big fights, B-hop vs Wright was all everyone talked about as soon as Winky beat Tito, ive personally wanted to see this fight for years because most people will think with Winkys defence and jab he will beat Bhop, even more so now that he is "old" buy i will state right now i think BHop puts up another great fight and wins a UD after 12 hard fought and exciting rounds.

P.S - Joe Cal, no one ducks you, no one is trying to take easy fights, you pulled out of a Glen J, fight how many times? just fight Woods so he can kick ur ****in ass man!!!
