So montiel got a bruised eye,it is called boxing right were they hit each other in the face?Guys if fights were judged by the way the opponents look at the end of the fight than boxing would be a joke.The fights are judged each and every round and to be honest montiel was more agrresive and landing the most significant shots.I honestly beleive that all these people saying it was a robbery were influenced by the commentary who were oviously being biased towards gorres.Dont get me wrong gorres did good but not enough to win atleast in my opinion ant the opinion that matters the most the judges who do this for a living.So thats the truth wether you like it or not,you say that gorres schooled him that is very far from the truth you want an example of somebody being schooled i suggest you watch marquez/pacquiao,and wright/trinidad those were real boxing lessons,this was just a close fight and not even that close to be honest.And dont cry about the point deductions cuz it evens out with two falls that gorres took wich should have been kd's and you know some thing even without the two point deductions it would have have been a draw and montiel would have still been the champion so theres nothing you guys can do.Comment

Yeah....but when was clinching or hugging ever a violation in boxing? It is reccommended to clinch to your opponent when you're in trouble...why did the ref penalized him twice? It's bull**** if you asked me.

Not only Pinoys saying Gorres was robbed. The WBO felt so bad about the decision that they let Gorres keep his #1 ranking. Golden boy reps were so apologetic about the robbery because it was so obvious to anyone who isn't biased including other non pinoy boxing experts that Gorres won that fight. GBP is trying to expand and had a robbery happen in their first promotion abroad. Your are biased and you were only watching what Montiel did in that fight. Robberies happen all the time in boxing thats why boxing is in the position it is in right now. The judges decisions are ****. Specially when both Caiz and the Ref of the fight were seen jumping around all happy talking about the fight with Montiel's corner after the fight. That fight needs to happen again. As far as the Majority of the people who saw that fight, Gorres won period.Comment

WBO wouldn't admit it pronto because it's a slap in their own face but retaining Gorrez the number 1 mandatory after that loss surely means something was wrong with that fight.Comment

The reason the wbo is keeping him no#1 ranked is because it was a close fight and that my be the reason there might be a rematch hopefully.The only people that think gorres won is the pinoysnd pinoy writers and comentators.I watched the fight again and i come with the same conclusion gorres didnt do enough period.Theres close fights all the time thats why they have judges and the judges that judged that fight are well known like giampa.How do you think we felt when marquez really did school pacquiaoand didnt get the decision and you dont think we can question why one judge gave alot of those rounds to pacquiao?But Theres nothing we can do.Just deal with it your boy lost period,just like pinoys always lose to the real mexican boxers not bums.Look what happened to jaca,suico,viloria,pacquiao,and now gorres.Mexico is so great.And gorres is not feather fisted 14 kos out of 26 wins is not featherfisted.Mexico 12 world champs phillipines0 world champs,deal with it.Comment
