It is basically saying that Peter gets 2.5 now and guaranteed 3 million if Vitali beats Maskaev. So Peter will not be getting screwed out of his title shot regardless. Vitali's camp is telling Peter's camp that if Vitali wins he will give Peter his shot. 5.5 million and the possibility of becoming WBC champ? That sounds like a freaking great deal to me.

who the hell is vitali to just come out of retirement and take peters spot? if anyone is the coward its vitali offering peter money to step aside. he knows peter will definitely win the title and he will HAVE to fight him. its not peters fault that the heavyweight division is so ****ty that maskaev is champ.
