On one hand I hope he does retire, Im ****in sick of havin to be barraged with all this garbage about him, so many people on his nuts but the guy is a straight up ******* so full of himself you just cant really like him from his comments. If only he walked the talk. On the other hand, I keep hoping he will give us some great fights and finally back up all the talk. It seems like he quickly realized he had impressed everyone with an amazing show of skills and potential and it was time to cash in and cash out.By the way, he did this against a few really good fighters, a majority of good fighters, a couple of has beens and a journeyman made cinderella man. Im disappointed and tired of this clown what a waste of all those skills.Comment

Actually there might be some truth that PBF would like to retire after the DLH fight, especially if he wins it.
This "annoying ****" had opened his mouth to wide and too big just like Naz that he might want to go out with his record still intact. And just like Naz he might not be able to go back to his HYPES and BULL****S after he loses to DLH so he's conditioning people's mind now that he's on the way out.
There's nowhere for him to go after the fight. What? Do you think he's gonna fight Winky or Taylor?Comment

As recently as TODAY Floyd has reaffirmed his intention to retire.
Several times in fact..
Right here to the BoxingScene team.
Again.
I've been saying all along that this is serious.
I like this sport, so I know how ****ed it will be if he walks out before he settles a few arguments for us by fighting guys like Hatton, Cotto, and whoever.Comment

This is a ploy, a sham. An attempt for attention. Even if he retires he will be back because in the back of his head he knows if he truly wants to establish a legacy he has to do far more. The only way he retires for real is if his hands are far worse than we think and if that is the case May 5 will be a bad day for him Win lose or draw.Comment

He'll retire for a little while but then if Hatton remains undefeated and starts t oget the title "#1 p4p" mayweather will trash talk him in interviews and so on until he is taunted back into the ring.
If he loses to DLH there is no way he'll retire.Comment
