Everyone around him except his egomaniacal father is a complete and udder yes man, and wont offer him a reason not to retire.

This is a ploy, a sham. An attempt for attention. Even if he retires he will be back because in the back of his head he knows if he truly wants to establish a legacy he has to do far more. The only way he retires for real is if his hands are far worse than we think and if that is the case May 5 will be a bad day for him Win lose or draw.
That's interesting. I guess we'll ignore every single one of the 50 odd promises he's made to retire since the Baldomir post fight.. His tune has not changed.

I don't care if a fighter runs his mouth. Doesn't bother me.

I have no real preference for or interest in the soap opera nonsense that happens outside the ring.

Maybe he's become weary of being derided and devalued..

I can't think of another fighter who has more people on his ass.

I'd be sick of that too.

If Mayweather beats DLH decisively and retires history ranks him as a top 5 P4P alltime. He obliterates one of the best..if not the best fighter of this era. Roy would have been well served to retire after Ruiz. Holyfield would have been a top 5 all time heavyweight had he retired after Tyson.. Mayweathers legacy will not get better with more fights after DLH. I believe under this scenario with a decisive win Floyd will retire

(I see we're getting votes that says he will contradict himself.)

What's that based on? Does he have a history of breaking his word?

Or are we supplanting Bernard Hopkins and Michael Jordan onto a totally different individual?

I'm saying he's stubborn as **** and will retire on some level for some period.
Let's roll this back. Here's when. It's the same now.

I wish I had made this poll public..

I dont think that he will retire. I know that he has continally said he will, but then so did Bernard Hopkins, and I dont think he ever really retired in his mind.

Are we talking about here?... Overall it's Floyd by far.

Ricky gets a pass in England right? Certain places ect.?...

                Floyd gets skewered worldwide.

He's says ****** ****, but I don't follow this sport for the antics.
