    FLOYD: "...OSCAR my last fight..."

He said it again last night when Lampley interviewed him after Mosley vs. Collazo.
Alot of fans and media have dismissed him, and we know he listens..

He said again May 5th will be his last fight.

Watch, this will be on everyone's lips in a few short months..

He just might do it too.. Nobody knows how stubborn the little guy is.

I'm getting ahead on this one.

He had his opportunity to take one step toward taking back his statement last night.

Instead he took the opportunity to reinforce his promise to retire.

(I see we're getting votes that says he will contradict himself.)

What's that based on? Does he have a history of breaking his word?

Or are we supplanting Bernard Hopkins and Michael Jordan onto a totally different individual?

I'm saying he's stubborn as **** and will retire on some level for some period.

I've never been so pissed I forget to make it public.. Damn. (poll)

I think we're getting a chance to see pure speculation at it's finest.

            He won't retire, IMO.
There's plenty of mega fights ahead of him, specially if he wins in a decisive manner.

If he does retire, he'll do an Aaron Pryor.

We're hoping he doesn't.. I am at least. Many big fights ahead..

                I think he's on a payback mission.

                A La' "**** the World."

This all became very personal to him at some point.. He's an angry frustrated guy.

It's hard to really understand his reasoning behind this announcement.

Perhaps he feels that this fight can go either way and if he loses to DLH and really retires, he can always say that he had already made up his mind some time ago and this loss has nothing to do with his decision. This will be his alibi.

If he wins, however, he might be inactive the rest of the year, if that, nothing more.

                  My two cents.

I don't think he will if he loses. He's to proud IMO to retire with a loss even if it's to ODLH.
