If he wins and retires, he doesn't have to worry about losing and he would hope that could provide enough for him being the greatest of all time. But he is mistaken if that is the case.
Or he can say this is his last fight and have alot of ppv buys because of it.

if oscar beats floyd then i definately don't think he'll be retiring. i really don't want floyd to retire. it's hard for me to picture myself giving as much of a **** about anything happening around the welterweight division if floyd is gone. floyd is (and has been) the catalyst for all the other fighters around that weight in my view.

I'll take bets with any of you who think he won't retire whatsoever.

            Put up.

Here's the thing: he can't say he's retiring and suddenly change his mind in the postfight interview. It makes him look like a total liar. So he'll wait a while and take a fight with Mosley or Hatton.

I can't believe all of you are so blind as to what Floyd's motives are behind this "retirement" thing. Do I have to spell it out for you?

It could be hard to watch for a Floyd fan.

What if he gets caught with one of those left hooks?

Who has stood up to that punch? He would be out of there, no?
