i just think if he is getting millions fighting guys like Chi an possibly valero who i dont think has a hope of beating pac theres no need for him to feel he has to fight guzman

The last few fights have been sort of a role reversal of sorts.

Barrera had been the bigger brawler of the too, but against Juarez he boxed to a win.

JMM had been the boxer, yet his last two fights he's been letting his hands go.

I see the first few rounds being kinda boring, as both are trying to figure out who's going to lead, with the action picking up in the mid rounds when JMM finally starts coming forward. I don't think barrera will go after JMM unless he has him hurt, which I doubt.

        Barrera by close UD

Once again I saw the fight, and I know this is off topic but was jim lampley kissing barreras ass all night or what, like I know barrera did well enough to take it but my goodness watch round 7 morales wins it and just listen how dissapointed and angry lampley sounds, he was basically cheering for barrera without probrably noticing how much he was cheering . I really didnt notice it that much the first time I saw the fight.

No, those were battles where both were stepping forward not so much boxing. The McKinney fight was a great fight!

Junior Jones was a slick boxer who presented Barrera with a lot of problems. He had a damned good right hand and he was consistently beating Barrera to the punch. I honestly feel like the thing that bothers Barrera is ENERGY!

Look at his bad losses to Pacquiao and Jones. Both of those guys came into those respective fights with a ton of energy and they were both very sharp. They would beat Barrera to the punch and always tried to end an exchange with him. The Juarez fights are a good example too. In the first fight...Rocky was live and came in with a full head of steam. He had Marco in bad shape the entire second half of that fight. In the second fight he was flat and looked uninterested...which is why Barrera slapped him around.

this is why I don't think any version of Barrera would have beaten any version of Pacquiao. I also think Marco would struggle BADLY with a fighter like Jesus Chavez. Chavez is a guy who is always going 100 miles per hour, always pressuring and looking to crack you.
