I dont know. Im not a professional figher.

The Hatton that stopped KT....was amazing. If hes still in there...I dont know.

I think he still beats JLC the taco King.
see now their is a valid post. i completely agree.

and i really appologize for calling everyone idiots, i didnt mean it like that, but the way guys like Aussie and stuff were expressing their opinions really insulted me.

Most of you guys were doing it fairly but i wanna let u know, my post was directed at the guys who were basically disrespectful in the way they voiced their opinion

      I agree as well.

My outcome is different - but I think this is right on.

I didn't mean any disrespect at all to him . Like I said my main point is thast it will be hard for him to make fans here . I really do like the guy and do root for him it's just that I expect him to be blowing a guy like this out ....Which he did on points but he wasn't the warrior tonight that he is known to be.

And yea, he clinched a ton in those last 6 rounds, and it was frustrating to watch, but can u really blame him?

He has one of the hardest punchers he has ever faced in front of him, and a guy that almost knocked him down, or even out, from body shots earlier in the fight.

He even admitted that he held on just to hold onto his victory, which was garunteed after round 8.

How can people say that FLOYD MAYWEATHER would eat him for lunch, after he just dominated a guy, and held the guy to almost no jabs in the entire fight?

Maybe you think Mayweather beats him anyway, but some of the unknowledgable members here are basing this off of hattons performance tonight alone.

I dont understand how you didnt enjoy the first 6 rounds. They were fast paced, he got himself out of clinches very quickly, and he nailed Urango with quick and vicous combinations.

Once he saw he couldnt stop urango, noticed Urango had a great punch, and was tiring a lot himself, he decided to hold on and get the decision. I was dissapointed as were the fans, but it was undoubtedly the right decision.

          I was very impressed.

O yea, i also heard a guy say Hatton is not dynamic... even the hatton haters can deny that pathetic statement. Hatton does everything. He hits from all angles. He has quick hands and hit the southpaw with plenty of left hooks. He has got an uppercut and a jab.

          Not Dynamic? hahaha
i'm not a hatton nutthugger but agree with most of the above post.
so what if he did just enough to win. i didnt like all the hugging either. but it seems like alot of the boxers on top coast when they think their ahead. look at winky, pbf.

i don't know how he does it .making weight and drinking and that.and there was a thousand of his buddys partying all week in town.hell he looks like he's 40.

but he's one of the smartest and skilled boxers out there.

I'll give him credit early on he looked good he was boxing and had good spacing between him and Urango. But after a while it was one punch and then he was falling in. His corner wanted to him to cruise so I guess it was alright. But with Floyd and Winky when the fight is already determined they don't really clinch. I know Winky dances the last ten seconds of every round. And Floyd just concentrates on his defense late. But I don't believe Mayweather should take heat for what he does if Hatton doesn't have to. I mean Merchant called Hatton on it but he did it in not so harsh of a way. As for Mayweather they bitched about the whole fight and try to piss him off in the interview.

It was like if any fighter gets on their bicycle after they know they have a win, dancing around them, using their footwork, getting away from the guy. Hatton held instead...the difference is it's against the rules. I'm surprised the ref didn't do anything.

Somewhat I feel. With dancing there is still a chance you can get knocked out or hit if your opponent is still coming forward. But if a guy just clinches you everytime you try to mount an attack you can't really do anything.

I understand this. But i don't see what the fuss is about. I enjoyed the Hatton v. Urango fight. Hatton was putting on a clinic and then Urango in the 5th round alomst put Hatton down. After this fight, i willing to belive Hatton would troube any fighter at 140.

As for Castillo i've noticed in the Reyes fight and a little bit in the 2nd Corrales fight that Castillos fight with Corrales and his career as a fighter is catching up with him and what he's alreaddy 35-36. Im hopeing he can still give a solid performance against Hatton, especially now that he knows Hattons weakness.

The same people that say Mayweather would beat Hatton are the same guys that are overamping on Mayweather's win over Baldomir. Baldomir is a flat footed JOURNEYMAN...Hatton uses a lot of movement..foot and hand. He would give Mayweather a fight..

I would have said you were wrong before, but Hatton is one strong sob and can really fight and doesn't take that bad a shot. I belive when you say he can trouble Mayweather, 140 is Hattons division.
