but IMO plenty of successful fighters have been guilty of excessive clinching
hatton felt urango's power and decided to employ the old hit and hold tech he employs so judiciosuly. Hatton is a disgrace to boxing and the fact that he is looking to fight old castillo next shows how cowardly he is and how racist hbo is for trying to promote this non-boxer because he is white.

meanwhile the rest of us had seen him fight and knew Urango wasn't **** and said so the moment the fight was signed

HBO are racist because they promote Hatton? Are you serious?
I think you're right in claiming that Hatton felt Urango's power and employed the holding tactics to help him win the fight, but i don't think you can take anything away from Hatton for fighting Castillo next, and claiming that HBO are racist for promoting Hatton is ridiculous!

If Hatton's holding and clinching is implemented as a standard of boxing today I will quit watching. Excessive clinching is not allowed in boxing period. Is part of the rules of the sport. Boxing is almost like an art and I love watching it. Boxing wasn't made for holding that's not a stragedy, that's against the rules. Why does he get away with it, who knows. But, hopefully this **** will stop and we could actually see Hatton in a boxing match.
