I think some people need to WEIGH their expectation.

    Try to keep up.

Did anyone think Hatton was going to knock Urango through the ropes?....

He gave me everything I expected.

    A win.

    And another payday.

Refs deduct points for excessive holding.

and that's exactly what Hatton does.

so why do you think they don't deduct points? me, i always thought he would've started having points deducted from him by now, since he came to the states. everytime, i'm like WTF!?!?!!? i can't figure it out! i have seen many more points deducted for much less.

This wasn't Jermain Taylor like domation where he won the entire fight and made it exciting, but couldn't put the guy down.I guess the clinching is part of his style, but he would be a fine fighter without all of the clinching involved.

Waht gets me is that these are the same people that call PBF and Roy Jones boring and ***** about them running when "He is only doing what he needs to do to win the fight." Yet Hatton is a great because he HUGS because "That's what he needs to do to win the fight ."

well he isnt the only one clinching. He jump on the inside a sometimes the other fighter is forced to clinch.

And a bunch of times when hatton clinches, its the other guy that holds on. I as a fan would like to see hatton get some points deducted so he'd cut it out and start knockin guys out and impressing the states.

But there isnt much the ref's can do about it. AND, add the fact that the fans are gonna boo him, find his adress after the fight and then kill him at his home, it kinda discourages refs to deduct points. lol

I give him much respect and credit I just think that he is a little JUST A LITTLE overrated right now . Maybe he was better in the past maybe he will be better in his next fights but as of right now he's not living up .
similar view before the Tszyu fight i thought it was going to be Castillo-corrales but it really didnt live to the hype.

The guy has some skills to beat some good contender but he is not p4p right now maybe after couple fight if he shows something explosive.

Hatton-Castillo is a fight where Hatton should win impressivly Castillo looks abit outta of his prime and if he didnt KO him he would be in the same point he is right now.

Yes he won Urango but did win him impressivly and he is not going to sell PPV with clinching too much. people say Hatton could beat Mayweather is something outta of reach because Mayweather is hard to catch and would easily couter Hatton. you where impressed by couple rounds because Urango was too slow for Hatton and was really easily countered. He was like a heavybag in there and you sure look good if you hitting a heavy bag
