people are actually calling Hatton a garbage fighter, when he coasted to an easy decision over Juan Urango.
He won every single round of the fight other then one...
And yea, he clinched a ton in those last 6 rounds, and it was frustrating to watch, but can u really blame him?
He has one of the hardest punchers he has ever faced in front of him, and a guy that almost knocked him down, or even out, from body shots earlier in the fight.
He even admitted that he held on just to hold onto his victory, which was garunteed after round 8.
How can people say that FLOYD MAYWEATHER would eat him for lunch, after he just dominated a guy, and held the guy to almost no jabs in the entire fight?
Maybe you think Mayweather beats him anyway, but some of the unknowledgable members here are basing this off of hattons performance tonight alone.
I dont understand how you didnt enjoy the first 6 rounds. They were fast paced, he got himself out of clinches very quickly, and he nailed Urango with quick and vicous combinations.
Once he saw he couldnt stop urango, noticed Urango had a great punch, and was tiring a lot himself, he decided to hold on and get the decision. I was dissapointed as were the fans, but it was undoubtedly the right decision.
I was very impressed.
O yea, i also heard a guy say Hatton is not dynamic... even the hatton haters can deny that pathetic statement. Hatton does everything. He hits from all angles. He has quick hands and hit the southpaw with plenty of left hooks. He has got an uppercut and a jab.
Not Dynamic? hahaha
