lol!! Way I look at it, as much as you do talk, sooner or later you're bound to hit a kernal of truth. ....law of averages.

I was gonna make a "is Danny Williams top ten heavy of all time" thread just be a **** but I thought better of it.

          Hey.. hey...

Before you all keep flaming me... I must admit.. my boxing history is horrible...
And I know very little of it..

I only began to follow boxing about 10 years ago and I don't need to tell everyone that my predictions have been anything less but crisp.

I'm just lacking in the History department

Again, I don't mean to argue.. over it.. I'm just asking for you historians to shed some lite for me.

I keep digging in Boxrec and this is why my knowledge is Statistical (Anorak)
perhaps I have to spend less time on this site and watch some fights on ESPN classic

But I got two more questions

Why isn't Lewis a top 10? He was the best of his era.. cleared both of his losses by KO stoppage.. and fought and beat the best fighters of his time.

          Holyfield
          Tyson
          Morrison
          McCall
          Tucker
          Klitschko
          Grant
          Briggs
          Tua

and many others who deserve to be mentioned. I wouldn't say a bunch of cans... These guys can probably rule during any era of HW. You stage these 9 + Lewis against the top 10 of all time and I could guarantee that there will be some wins for the guys listed. (And lets not get into another Marciano Vs. Vitali Klitshcko)

Also why is Larry Holmes is rated so high? He lost all of his major fights

Larry Holmes was over 40 for 3 of his losses and he was arguably robbed 3 times during his career.

Either way frazier was champ for 5 years during the peak of the division, hes easily top 10.

Larry holmes beat ken norton and ali, if you wanna make excuses for those wins, consider the fact that he was over 38 against tyson and 43 against holyfield.
