I have to disagree.. I dont think there are a million people in the industry that think he is a great trainer... good trainer, of course, but many are under the impression that he has magical powers or something and it is based LARGELY on him convincing them of such things with his self pomotion. I am not a hater, I am honest. I mean you say he is so good but you cannot back it up with anything. Just because you see a guy in the corner on TV it doesn't always mean he is responsible for anything. Put it this way, if you put me in Roy Jones corner back in the mid 90's he would still look spectacular whether I had any input or not. If certain guys are so great then how come they don't churn out multi million dollar fighters at a record pace?????

I know Nettles pretty good.... LOL...I remember him several times getting thrown out of corners as an amateur coach LOL he gets VERY emotional!!! As far as what he knows or not etc I really don't know...I never really talked about boxing with him and never saw him work in a corner other than from a distance. If guys like Ravelo trust him in the corner, though, then he must know something or else they would have gotten rid of him already

That his son is Floyd Jr, most say oh, he must be the primary catalyst of his success. It really isn't so, but I do think Floyd Sr is a decent trainer. Not a great one, not yet, because he still has shown an inability at times to remain cool in the corner and things like that. But I can't assess further cuz I've never been in the gym with him.

Some say that Emmanuel Steward isn't a great trainer, in fact another trainer who might or might not be in my signature said so. But the truth of the matter is that he has achieved great success nonetheless. He is a terrific manager, I know that firsthand.

But as far as it being ration, it was just Scully's opinion. He could be wrong, he could be right. It's an opinion.

LOL Nettles is my man. A little nuts at times, but he's very hard not to love. He's very humble, he knows he's a young guy and is always learning. Very fun guy, the coolest guy you'll ever meet.

I've never really seen that big of a total jackass in boxing promo. The whole "That's it....My son did it. He left in his car and avoided me I want Oscar to kill him now" thing was the ******est drama queen antic of all time. And then....he has the audacity to give Oscar and ultimatum? LOL.
