    BWAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAAAA!!!!!

Man! If Junior Jones got in the ring with Manny, Pac-man would punch him once and he'd turn to dust and blow away!

*wipes tear away* That's a good one.

Hey pal, this is something you don't really take seriously.

It's a normal strategy for fighters who were already left out in the cold to mention the biggest names in the division when they wanted to regain some attention.

              His style today?

It would look like....a used up ex-boxer with a chin made of eggshells and mashed potatoes for brains. He would throw too many right hands after dancing a few rounds then get beaten ******ed and stopped.

He should avoid the ring at ALL freaking costs.

Seriously. He isnt right in the noggin. If he fights anyone remotely game, hes going to end up like the guy from sling blade.

He already seems to be showing signs of some pretty serious brain damage if you listen to him talk.

                Hi there buddy!

Nah, I'm not taking it seriously at all, pal. Just my oblique way of saying, Junior should perhaps be talking about Bobby Pacquiao instead of Manny, Marquez, etc. He mentioned Kevin Kelly...oh well maybe he can talk about Kelley but after 6 years of dorminancy I'm not too sure. I fear for him.

I am now left wondering why he did not mention Luisito Espinosa. Even Luisito, at this stage of their respective lives, may prove too much for him.

I'm just thinking: should he still be talking at all?

                Happy New Year, buddy!

Hahahahahahaha ! Same thing in my head pal. But as I said the guy is making a grand comeback into the scene and what could be bigger than mentioning the no1 p4p fighter in the division?

                    Happy New Year too!

What I'm saying is fairly early, his chin was already suspect and his stamina was not among his best assets. Facing a prime Pacquiao who fights like a dervish for all rounds packing such a punch should not even be thought of. It is an idea that may have resonated a decade ago, but not now. Problem about that resonating a decade ago was that Pacquiao was unheard of at the time.

Right at the heels of Jones' twin wins over Barrera, he suffered nearly identical consecutive early stoppages against McKinney and Morales. Before Barrera, a Darryl Pinkney brought in a record of 18-18-2 to the ring and took him out in 3. He floored McKinney a round before he was stopped in the fourth. The Ingle fight was competitive. Until the 11th, some thought JOnes was leading while others had Ingle ahead. JOnes KD'd Ingle in the 8th (or was it 9th?) before he himself was KD'd twice in the 11th on the way to a TKO loss.

Ingle was the fighter who gave Naseem Hamed fits in an earlier losing bid. Although The Prince KDd him several times in the earlier and mid rounds, he came back in the late rounds, started to take control and appeared to be about to finish the job when Hamed struck him with a left hand and took him out. Ingle's inability to put Hamed away or at the very least put him down, made a number of people suspect his power. Daniel Alicea had floored Hamed in the first round in their fight and Kevin Kelley had done it thrice in theirs. After fighting Ingle, Hamed was also dropped by Augie Sanchez.

Yes, Poison was much better than an average fighter. He was very close to elite. But after 4 years or so of absence from the ring (at really competitive level) he should not be talking about Pacquiao and Marquez. Not even about MAB. Maybe he can talk about Kelley, as he has. But, I have reservations about that too.

Those two wins against MAB makes him a retired fighter not easily forgotten. To try to do something beyond that may result in tragedy.
