In his prime maybe yes, he could beat Pacquaio but now? After 4 years lay off? I seriously doubt it. But i would still be interested to see the fight happen.

Jones was stopped by Darryl Pinkney in the third round before he faced Barrera. Before Pinkney, he was floored in the 4th by John Michael Johnson before Johnson disposed of him in the 11th. After winning twice over Barrera, Jones was gone in the fourth against Kennedy McKinney and ERik Morales. Some six years ago, Paul Ingle sent him home also in the 11th round. HIs last fight was for a loss against Ivan Alvarez who had 7 consecutive losses on the way to winning by UD over Jones. Two of those losses were to Pacquiao victims Emmanuel Lucero and Oscar Larios.

Junior is entitled to his belief. It's in the mind. The execution, however, is another matter. While he beat Barrera, he lost to Morales.

                L O L @ Junior Jones....

if he happens to fight Pac and loses, Pac's detractors would just say that Pac is fighting out of prime fighters....
