For Floyd to take a fight at 154, I'm sure he's been near that weight and knows how he can move and box at that weight. I believe his walking around weight is 150. Floyd is better skilled, better defense, and just about better everything than Mayorga.

How do you know what Floyd's gameplan will be? Floyd said he will stand and trade with Oscar. If he does that for any length of time, he will get hurt.
One thing I think everyone is forgetting is that Floyd doesn't get hit with combinations.
Floyd does get hit when you throw combonations. You aren't payng attention to what I said. I never said Oscar will land his combos at a high rate. I said he will THROW combos and land ONE hard punch IN that combo.

      Kapeesh?

Floyd said he will trade with Baldomir but he fought smart. It would be crazy to trade someone who who is much bigger than you, Baldomir was 163 Pounds that night but obviously Floyd fought smart, This fight is against 2 smart fighters, I just think Floyd is smarter and he will beat Oscar, Oscar had always had problems with Slick boxers - e.g Hopkins, Whitaker, Sturm.

If he had problems with these fighters imagine what a defensive master counterpunching fighter in Floyd will do, I honestly cant see Oscar winning anymore than 3-4 rounds in this fight and thats being generous, and im a Oscar fan as well as Floyd.

Oscar had problems with Sturm because he was out of shape, Sturm was bigger, and had a good jab. Not because Sturm was slick. But I get ya.

Oscar will likely be losing at the time of the KO. But he will get it.

When you make such a bold prediction it can only go one of two ways. You'll look like a genius after the fight...or someone with drag these posts out and make you eat your words. That won't be pleasant. (Should it happen)

Ha, I'll do it myself then if I remember. Either to praise you or expose you for being on Oscar's nuts like Jim Lampley is. (No insult meant towards you, more so towards Jim ) We'll see which way it goes.

You are completelyb ignorant to think Oscar has no chance. Floyd is already slowing down at welter and it will not help his speed moving to 154. Oscar will be bigger stronger and has the skill and technical ability to do what Baldy and Gatti couldn't do being the bigger guys. Also Floyd will never be able to hurt Oscar but when Oscar eventually catches him he will go down.

Like I said, when is the last time you saw Floyd still in range while a second punch was coming? Oscar might hit him with jabs, lead rights or counters, but if he tries to set Floyd up with combinations he's going to have a harsh reality. By the time he starts to throw the 2nd punch Floyd will be gone. Count on that. If Oscar KO's Floyd it will be with a counter. As much as you might want it to happen its just not going down like that.

Pound for pound, Floyd is better but he is losing speed as he goes up. He can not get Oscar's respect as far as power is concerned.

Oscar will get hit. He will, however, continue cutting off the ring and coming forward. He will land a hard right hand in the midst of a combo that will hurt Floyd. Once that happens, it will be the beginning of the end. Oscar will jump on the wounded Floyd and give him the 1st loss on his record, by stoppage.
DLH isn't ready. Fighting Mayorga after long layoffs to get ready for P4P boxer extraordinaires hasn't been sufficient warmup for 90s welterweights as of late. I don't think a Mayorga tuneup means much for DLH.
