    Regarding Oscars prime:

I think Oscar would be more vulnerable to a Mayweather in his prime.

This fight is coming at the right time in Oscar's life.

    Think "Foreman vs. Moorer."

I really want Oscar to win but i kind of agree with Hatton. That a PBF win might be better for him. With future fight with PBF approaching.

Its all about how he wins, if its by running and barely outpointing Oscar it proves hes a great boxer who can go backwards really fast and is in superb shape but not a boxer I or most fight fans can support. I still think he should move back down to 140 where he has enough power to fight more. Its subjective

Yes Oscar has a lot more power than Floyd, but Oscar's power isn't THAT good.

DLH cannot KO Floyd with one punch. Have you all forgotten that Floyd has a great chin himself?

You know what we forget about fighters? They have a style, and they have a set of skills- but they also have a brain. A boxer will tweak his approach based on his opponent and do what it takes to win a fight. Floyd is intelligent, as is Oscar, but at this point in his career Mayweather has a broader repertoire of skills to work with in deciding how to approach this fight.

Mayweather is a man with a brain. I believe he knows how to beat Oscar. He'll be very defensive so as not to get caught with any clean punches, find the holes, and land enough combinations to win the rounds.

I don't think Oscar can KO Floyd unless he is far less ring savvy than he appears.

Once again everyone should take a look at who these two have fought say 10 fights deep. Who has the more impressive resume and add that into the match up between these two. way too many people counting DLH out.

I believe De La Hoya will knock him out. I think his power and those combos will just be too much for him. Not to say that it won't be a close fight. I believe it will certainly be close fight.

Also, I think if Floyd chose to continue to fight after this fight, and he lost, it would help him immensely. I just get the feeling that he could gain a lot from it.

One thing I think everyone is forgetting is that Floyd doesn't get hit with combinations. Zab has some of the fastest hands in boxing and uses a double jab followed by a straight left to KO most of his opponents. By the time he was throwing his 2nd jab to set up the left, Floyd was gone. Its not often that Floyd allows his opponents to throw more than one punch while he's in range. DLH will be no exception, especially considering he has such a power advantage. If DLH KO's Floyd it will NOT be by setting Floyd up with combinations, it will be with some kind of counter, probably the left hook. I think some of you guys are wishing that Floyd gets KO'd so badly that it makes you think irrationally (like thinking DLH is going to land in bunches).

I like Floyd as a fighter. If he wins then we have more to look forward to in a Hatton, Mosley and other matchups.

If Oscar wins; our boxing storyline thread gets popped.

I think Oscar has a great chance at victory. If Floyd falls; I'll feel truly bad for the guy because I think he's mentally unstable.
