Its not often that Floyd allows his opponents to throw more than one punch while he's in range. DLH will be no exception, especially considering he has such a power advantage. If DLH KO's Floyd it will NOT be by setting Floyd up with combinations, it will be with some kind of counter, probably the left hook. I think some of you guys are wishing that Floyd gets KO'd so badly that it makes you think irrationally (like thinking DLH is going to land in bunches).
very good post with which I agree the most..

As for my thoughts. I think it will be De La Hoya VS. Hopkins all over again!

Only De La Hoya will be Hopkins in this scenario

I think DLH will do a little better than Baldy did against PBF..with PBF winning comfortably on points.
This fight is a money making circus show.

You can combine all attributes from Gatti, Baldomir and Corrales and ODLH will still be better.

I bettin on PBF but i hope DLH wins.

I think if floyd leaves himself open for one of Oscars left hooks the way he left himself open for Zabs right it wont be his knee he'l go down on.....its his arse!!

Pound for pound, Floyd is better but he is losing speed as he goes up. He can not get Oscar's respect as far as power is concerned.

Oscar will get hit. He will, however, continue cutting off the ring and coming forward. He will land a hard right hand in the midst of a combo that will hurt Floyd. Once that happens, it will be the beginning of the end. Oscar will jump on the wounded Floyd and give him the 1st loss on his record, by stoppage.

I have decided that you have lost your mind. Silly of you to fall for that bigger man thing again. How do you know what Oscar's gameplan will be? He might try and outbox Floyd. For Floyd to take a fight at 154, I'm sure he's been near that weight and knows how he can move and box at that weight. I believe his walking around weight is 150. Floyd is better skilled, better defense, and just about better everything than Mayorga.

If Floyd gets KOed it would have to be a perfect punch. No way do I see this ending with a body shot. Floyd doesn't really get hit with body shots clean. If Floyd gets hurt he will head for the ropes and block punches and shoulder roll or tie up.

Also, I think if Floyd chose to continue to fight after this fight, and he lost, it would help him immensely. I just get the feeling that he could gain a lot from it.
I think your forgetting that a Out of Prime Pernell Whitaker gave Oscar all he could, most thought he won that fight as well.

Oscar will get hit clean..sometimes easy and early. Once he taste's and take Floyd's punches after losing some early rounds he will the apply pressure and bring the fight to Floyd and either win a UD or late TKO.

Of course but what does that have to do with anything. Larry Holmes would murder them both too.
