It's ****** for people to think that the only way Oscar will win is if mayweather gets robbed. The reason he fought a slower more controlled fight was due to the opponent he was fighting. Mayorga has tremendous power and was not able to hurt Oscar. There is no way floyd can hurt Oscar. When oscar catches floyd he will go down. Talk about someone looking slower floyd already looks significantly slower at welter, moving up to 154 will not help his speed. Oscar has the size and the difference is he has the skill tha Baldy and gatti don't have to cut off the ring back floyd down and combonations to break floyd down with an accumulation of punches. Not to mention if he throws his jab consistantly, Oscar still has one of th best jabs in boxing that will set up the rest of his punches. Oscar will win a jabbing contest if floyd tries to jab with him.

Pound for pound, Floyd is better but he is losing speed as he goes up. He can not get Oscar's respect as far as power is concerned.

Oscar will get hit. He will, however, continue cutting off the ring and coming forward. He will land a hard right hand in the midst of a combo that will hurt Floyd. Once that happens, it will be the beginning of the end. Oscar will jump on the wounded Floyd and give him the 1st loss on his record, by stoppage.
u knw what... i totally agree wit u... im not a big fan of oscar at all, and i think pbf is the best p4p but, hes stepping up in weight ( like u said), oscar will be bigger and stronger (like u said) and pbf will get hit wit combos (like u said) i cudnt put it beter myslef m8 i cnt believe they made oscar that ig of underdog, may the 5th is the day the book makers r gonna get robbed, if they keep those odds lol

Can Floyd avoid getting caught by an intelligent, skilled fighter like De La Hoya for 12 rounds? Everyone who thinks Floyd will skate to victory should remember it will only take one heavy shot from Oscar to fold Mayweather like a blanket.

As smart as you all think DLH is, Mayweather is that much smarter. The Oscar that fought Quartey at welterweight would give Mayweather hell. At this age hes got no chance.

First off, no one is that good and a one punch KO probably is more a reflection of a fighters chin/toughness than defense. Secondly, DLH might not be a true, career long Light middleweight but he has more power, fast hands, very good boxing skills and movement and although past his prime the best opponent PBF has faced at the highest weight class. If you favor Mayweather this fight has upset written all over it.

No way Floyd will be able to fight the same style of fight he did against Baldomir, who was 2 1/2 inches shorter, slow as molasses and threw 1 punch at a time, and be as successful. He will get hit more, he will not find DLH nearly as much and at some point he will have to stand and fight. What happens in those moments will be the interesting part.

The mayweather at 154 has no power, and his speed will be questionable.

Mayweather is THAT much smarter...hahaha. Yeah, he takes the smart fights.

At least DLH has heart, willing to put on a show for everyone, lay it all on the line. What happened against Baldy when Mayweather hurt his hand? Let me see...I will cost to victory and do nothing.

I will be glad when Mayweather is gone, he's holding down boxing.

Speed kills. Mayweather is to flashy, his defense if to crafty, and he is just to smart. DLH isn't fighting a Mayorga, he's fighting the P4P number uno.

Oscar is going in with 5 different gameplans.

                  He'll catch Floyd.

Floyd is being mocked by the fans and media for lacking "GRIT."

Floyd will take chances and Oscar will capitalize.

while i do oscar has a chance, i do think floyd was a smarter fighter at 24/25 than oscar is now.floyds ring intelligence reflects the amount of losses on his record.
