Cotto is a good body blaster, but Mayweather is the most complete body-puncher I've ever seen and Hatton is the most devastating body-puncher there's ever been. But Cotto is the next best thing in todays game, for sure.
I disagree there. I think Hatton has a beautiful body shot. Textbook, turns his hips into it to enforce full power. However, I think Cotto's is more damaging.

      PBF is a whoos!

Cotto will kill Mayweather. The only way that PBF would be able to beat Cotto, is to fight him and try to hurt him. There is no way that he will do this, as it will enable Cotto to break him up in the infighting.
Mayweather is great against lighter guys.

Who has he beat again?.. Anybody? Nobody..

Cotto lacks ring intelligence too. He doesn't have the chin to back up his careless, plodding approach.. Tito was a much better fighter than Cotto will ever be- and we all know Trinidad's fate against these crafty, slickster, American fighters.

Floyd would make Cotto look like he's RETARTED.

It would be an incredible joke.
Come on man Cotto's ability to recover from being hurt and ability to attack both the body and the head is impressive. His composure in the ring is world class by far, and he cuts off the ring just as good as anybody.

          Good points.

But would he be cutting off that ring on someone who was whooping his ass?

I think not. He's good at cornering guys like Malinaggi, and Quintana, sure.

We'll see how he can recover from "being hurt" in 5 or 8 more fights...

          His composure is very good.

Of course, I could look "world class" against the right guys...

Thanks to the help of Oasis_lad and a couple of other links I found, I have watched many Hatton fights lately. Enough to know that a fight between him and Cotto would end with a Cotto win.

Mayweather punches harder than Quintana and has better deffense, plus is faster and smarter, but man, the way I saw Cotto in his 147 debut, its hard to pick against him. I mean, he doesnt' have to hit you flush anywhere to hurt you, elbows, shoulders, hands, side of the head, wherever he hits you, you're gonna feel it. I like Cotto in this fight, I think it would play out similar to Mayweather vs Castillo 1.
For those picking Hatton at 47, you can't be serious! At 140, probably Hatton, but at 147 based on the fight against pillow fisted Collazo, he doesn't stand a chance.

The guys Cotto fought were good. It will show over the next few years when Paulie and QUintana succeed. Torres is already a champ.

Mayweather is an "A" fighter, is he not?

Cotto is a "B" fighter, ok.

                    He is a "B" fighter. That's it.

Cotto beats Mayweather and I'll go hang-gliding off the Golden Gate Bridge..

Torres won a paper championship and was given a gift decision.
He is far from a champ.
In fact, his figh with Mighty Mike showed that he is not even close to championship level.
