Yeah Cotto is more than competent, not on the skill level of a Mayweather or a Hatton yet, but he's getting there..

Cotto is a good body blaster, but Mayweather is the most complete body-puncher I've ever seen and Hatton is the most devastating body-puncher there's ever been. But Cotto is the next best thing in todays game, for sure.

I'd like to see Hatton vs Cotto at MSG with the winner facing Mayweather, as long as PBF dont retire. Ive gotta say though, I'm starting to lose faith with Ricky. Let's hope he gets back to his best cos this mauling bull**** he's been doing wont get him through the big tests (ie Cotto and Mayweather)

i think cotto could hang with mayweather. i don't know if he could beat him right now. he needs some more experience. give him a few more fights against better competition. i think eventually he could give mayweather the fight of his life.

No, that's not true. If Hatton were such a devastating body puncher then he would have had Collazo doubled over with all of those lead left hooks he was hitting him with. Cotto dropped a bigger Welterweight in Quintana BAD with that bodyshot he landed and ended the fight with that punch. Body punching has now basically ended 4 of Cotto's last 6 fights. He is the most devastating body puncher in the game.

Hatton throws to the body more and he's consistent. Not in Cotto's league as far as raw power though.

Oh please - Hatton was in no fit state to box that night against Collazo, unless your blind. He could barely move FFS!

Hatton has more KO's from the left hook to the body than any boxer I know of ever. The way he steps off to land his bodyshots is the most impressive too.

Well, that would surprise me.. Let's just say that.

Cotto has shown me nothing world class. NOTHING.

Who has he beat again?.. Anybody? Nobody..

Cotto lacks ring intelligence too. He doesn't have the chin to back up his careless, plodding approach.. Tito was a much better fighter than Cotto will ever be- and we all know Trinidad's fate against these crafty, slickster, American fighters.

Floyd would make Cotto look like he's RETARTED.

It would be an incredible joke.

Against the likes of? I'd say Cotto what did to the likes of Corley, Torres, Branco and Quintana is more impressive than the body attack I have seen from Hatton. His body punching is nice no doubt, but when was the last time his body punching straight up ended the fight?

                Collazo? No...

                Tszyu? No...

                Maussa? No...

Oliveira? I don't believe so...he was dropping him and hurting him upstairs.

In your opinion...was Hatton sluggish in the Collazo fight because he did not train hard enough? Or was it the extra 7 pounds that hurt him? I thought he looked to be in fine form, but just couldn't have his way with his opponent like he usually does because Collazo was equally as strong.

Cotto should fight Hatton if Hatton survives Castillo. I'd take Cotto to beat the Hitman.

Ok, that's not going to happen either.

                    Cotto cannot beat Hatton.

                    That's disrespectful to Kostya, anyway...

LOL what?!?!?!? you've lost it, homes. Cotto is a better body puncher than Hatton. to call Hatton the most devastating body puncher ever is absurd.
