It kinda reminds me of the Juan Diaz-Billy Irwin fight that ESPN was replaying today. They mentioned that Irwin stood a chance if he could make it into the later rounds WITHOUT ABSORBING ANY PUNISHMENT.

The problem for him was he just put his hands up to block JD's shots, instead of moving out of the way, and Diaz wore him down and took him out.

if frazier could back tyson up then he could tak it into the later rounds and KO him but i have so say i see tyson getting into close range and pounding him with two shots for every hook frazier lands. unless one of those hooks knocks tyson down (causing him to lose heart) i see tyson winning within 3.

i have stll rated frazier higher than tyson because tyson was not capable of beating some of the people frazier beat

And that final shot Lewis caught Tyson with was a monster!!!!

Lots of guys would've been out from that punch.

Tyson stands as one of the most overrated, undertalented fighters of all time, the only reason he came to find success was because he was in a division of nobodies. I can't believe how many people pick Tyson, especially considering the fact that Joe Frazier beat Muhammad Ali. So basically your argument is that Tyson is better than Ali.

Frazier beat serious opposition and had a damn good career and has always been a favorite of mine. Tyson beat a boatload of unknowns, and suddenly he's a mesiah. 6 words : GET THE **** OUT OF HERE!

Tyson was a blown up knockout artist, that's it. Welcome to reality, enjoy your stay. I'm not trying to be a **** but seriously, Frazier in his prime was way better than Tyson in his prime.

Honestly it's all a matter of opinion, I've already given mine.

i have thought about this for a while, even though prime tython looks more impressive, and he was, i still enjoy those old fights from 1985-86, i'm going with frazier on this one. i think, in this fight, it comes down to the intangibles - frazier wins it in the later rounds. the reason i think this is that in a tough fight, frazier could always find another gear.
