This is one fight I struggle to visualise. I do visualise Frazier being fractions quicker a lot of the time, peppering Mike with hooks and causing Mike to lose his balance, and I tend to see Mike settling down and going for stiff jabs and landing to the body when the opportunity permits, slowing Frazier down. It's difficult to visualise, though, this fight.

Tyson early because of styles and Frazier's tendency to start slow.

Frazier's edge in stamina and heart won't come into play here. Also, Tyson gets frustrated when you nullify his offense and tie him up (Douglas, Holyfield), but Frazier's style is all different than those guys.

The punches Tyson were most vulnerable to (jabs, uppercuts, straight rights) were not Frazier's strong points. Joe loved the hooks.

Other times I just see Tyson being too explosive for Joe, even making Joe look pitter-patter upto him, and blasting Joe down with a powerful counter hook during an aggressive tangle where both guys were rolling and switching.

          yea, hard to visualize.
          two different eras' here.
but frazier went up against better opponents. always thought tyson did good because of a weaker division.
i'm still amazed when i rewatch the foreman/fraziers when foreman literally lifts frazier off the ground with a horrendous punch then frazier touches back down like nothing happened, for a few seconds, then the delayed reaction comes into play and he hits the canvas.
i feel smokin joe in his prime takes anything tyson throws and 4 out of five times beats tyson in later rounds.

Difficult choice. Frazier would be backing him up and Tyson doesn't like that. Tyson does not like to fight on the inside often either, hes best at mid range but the fight would be fought in a phone booth. Tyson's power would be dangerous for Frazier's chin which is a little more than good but not great. But I believe Frazier's heart will pull him through and he'd KO Tyson in the mid to late rounds. Frazier KO8 Tyson.

I hate Tyson. I just had to get that out in the open before I make a prediction.

                  I choose Frazier. (shocker)
