When Mike fought Holy? NOBODY gave Holly a chance... Now, Holly was taught to do certain things, like push Mike back on hi heels and all... But if one were to say "lets cut out all the BS from posters like Billeau who talk about triangulation, angles, etc... and keep it simple! Holly stood up to Mike!" it would be a point well taken.Comment

First of all Max's brother was not in the running. We are really talking about Max versus Tyson. I would recen the consensus of knowledgable boxing fans would go with Mike. It would seem logical enough...
But lets look at some of the comments here and Max with more circumspection. One poster said it well: "Max can punch, could Mike take it?"
Galento punched hard and hit Max real good, and Max took it. Of course Louis broke him in half lol.
Max was also very strong... He could certainly stand up to Tyson inside. I tend to think Tyson catches Max and wins early, but max has a puncher's chance.Comment

Tyson has to watch out for the right....but is there really anything more for him to really worry about? Louis was able to evade it even though it was a trouble spot for him. As Much as I love Louis and rank him the best, I think Tyson would slip under Maxie's right and break him up to the body and work his way to the head for the ko But Max always has that punchers chance.Comment

Are we writing that in everyone of Tyson's victories the opponent was either clearly afraid or just fought to stay away from him? That seems a bit much.
Or is it more of an 'expert marksman fallacy' in that any opponent who beat Tyson we, after the fact, attribute it to them standing up to him.Comment
