Yes that's exactly what happened. Add to that Tysons Self belief disappears as soon as he learns the guy in front of him is going to fight back.

Tyson has to watch out for the right....but is there really anything more for him to really worry about? Louis was able to evade it even though it was a trouble spot for him. As Much as I love Louis and rank him the best, I think Tyson would slip under Maxie's right and break him up to the body and work his way to the head for the ko But Max always has that punchers chance.
yeah good observations. Max did not have those qualities, or size.

One of the biggest myths is that Tyson simply folded when someone stood up to him. Lets see a history of his losses:

Against Buster Douglas, Douglas started the fight with a dominating performance. If Tyson merely folded under pressure, he should have given up after the first 4 rounds, but Tyson had his best round later in the fight. Same story against Holyfield, who was outworking tyson until round 5 in their 96 fight, in round 5, Tyson began putting his punches together and was also fighting well into the 6th until that cut and balance shot. If Tyson simply folded, how come he had his best rounds against these 2 fighters later or in the middle of their fight?

Ruddock stood up to Tyson. So did Berbick. And Thomas. And McNeely.
