Even when you look at the three undefeated fighters Floyd fought in his career you get a glance at his career in it’s entirety. Corrales was drained at 130 and recovering from bronchitis. He was never an elite level fighter to begin with but certainly not the best version of himself. Hatton also not elite level and a smaller guy coming up in weight. Joe Cortez would not allow him to fight on the inside. Canelo was drained to a CW of 152 and still not at his best in terms of experience.
Not only did Floyd wait for Manny, Mosley and Cotto to soften up, he straight up avoided the likes of Freitas, Casamayor, Williams, Wright, Bradley, Margarito, and of course Thurman, Danny and Porter. No way in hell would he ever get in the ring with Aaron Pryor at any weight. I’m not even a fan of Pryor so no dog in that match up.
But you're a delusional Floyd hater, which makes it clear why your post is so full of bullshlt

I don't like to pick apart fights... like this guy had a bad camp, etc... I also do not think Hatton could do much to Floyd, though I will say he was so poorly managed after he beat Zoo! I mean they taught him to hump, throw a shot hump repeat and rinse, he never showed the swash he had when he beat up Zoo... which was a great performance, a great fight. I also do not think he ever legit had to fight Margarito. I would not hold that particular opponent against him.
Most of the other guys you mention were not his best weight... Floyd to me, and this is a bona fide ****** opinion of mine and nothing more... was great at 135 and below. He was roughed up coming up by guys who were big and strong enough... while he won, it was not dominant. I mean I could see him beating a guy like porter but by the scorecards.
Canelo was young... But kudos to Floyd. If we want to look at a fellow ATG (in my opinion) who was more dominant climbing the latter we have Ward. Ward mixed it up and won convincingly until the first kovalev fight, but he showed he could beat Kovalev in that second fight.
