If those guys are top 10 fighters, you've answered your own question.
The same can be said of Robinson. Before the War, the division saw the likes of Steele, Apostoli, Yarosz. Robinson, Cerdan, Burley and LaMotta were post-War holdovers.
Do you think Robinson would've stayed on top for so long if the Middleweight division had maintained that level of skill?
Robinson lost the title to Carmen Basillio, for God's sake!
And the best fighter he ever fought at the weight (ever)?
Joey Archer... in 1965.
Do you see how long things took to recover?Another Trombonism...thats all one can say. Ouch! Just got caught by that wicked Charlie Burley punch!!!!

Basilio beat Jenkins, Fullmor, and Robinson among others...And you, like the troll you are dismiss him, while claiming Conn beat great fighters... Lol. Are you for real man?Another Trombonism...thats all one can say. Ouch! Just got caught by that wicked Charlie Burley punch!!!!
The things I've learn from you:
- Carmen Basillio beat Gene "Fullmor".
- "Serafino" Garcia beat Billy Conn.
- Jimmy Braddock "beat the snot out of Max Bauer".
And you wonder why no one takes you seriously.
When are we ever gonna get that explanation for why Maxim is better than Louis?Comment

No one takes me seriously? Says you? Lol, you either have no self awareness or are a genius, reminds me of a story: My favorite mafia don The Chin... he acted insane, but he was acting Rusty! You really believe that horse s hit you peddle! I don't know who takes me seriously, or who doesn't, but I know literally no one takes you seriously. And there has to be at least one poster here who takes me seriously...i will let you do the math.Comment

Rusty's problem is that he is from New jersey, its as simple as that...the day new yorkers and members of the garden state stp busting b a l ls the world is in trouble...
People from new Jersey think they know it all...and I am still searching for that "Garden" in the state. New Yorkers actually do know everything so naturally we clashComment

To defend NJ...
NJ gets a bad wrap because all you see is downtown Newark as you land. Newark is fairly gruesome.
However drive NW and you get into the hills and mountains of NNJ. Beautiful lakes, lake communities, farms, parks.
Drive SE from Newark and you find some of the finest beaches in the US if not the world. Visit Avon, Spring Lake, Belmar. Asbury Park, once a town Jeffries and other heavyweight champions liked to train, and was a ghost town 40 years ago is now full of trendy restaurants, a beautiful beach, boardwalk and high end hotels.
Travel past these shore towns and head south you find the ******** city of Atlantic City. Another beautiful beach and boardwalk.
Then move down to the bottom tip of NJ and find Stone Harbor, Wildwood and Cape May. Cape May is full of Victorian mansions and another perfect beach. You can sit on the beach and watch dolphins swim by on an average day.
So NJ is not so bad after all.Comment
