Yea I noticed that as well -- they don't exactly say 'ten seconds' but in the manner the rule is written one is hard pressed not to assume they meant 'seconds.'

Then again The MQB Rules say 'ten seconds' directly.

Maybe those who say it is a 'ten count' and not 'ten seconds' have been wrong all along?

As far as you know has any sanctioning body or State commission ever defined a "knockdown"?

I run into the "held up by the ropes" exception regularly but never anything more.

      - -A count is informally based on seconds...Duh!

They have timekeepers keeping up with those seconds that the ref often uses to pick up the count.

What the Hay is to collective grade average of this bunch unable to use definitive video with a slo-mo supplement to see what happened?

What, the 1969 moon landing never happened and the moon still made of green cheese?

Not a biggie. Marv dropped and got up to BTFO of Roldan...end of!!!

I saw a knock down as he caught hagler on top of the head and it was mixture of a punch and his footworrk slipping.
But we’ve seen a lot of knockdowns given for that so it’s not unusual.
Roldan at that stage was giving it to hagler and it was only an illegal thumb by hagler that changed the course of this fight.
It was like when wilder got knocked down the 2nd time vs fury , he was moving back and when fury landed on his body he went down due to him backing away.
Knockdowns are not always sign a fighter is really hurt.

its a scuff with the forearm, but not deliberate, he just failed to land.
