Yea I noticed that as well -- they don't exactly say 'ten seconds' but in the manner the rule is written one is hard pressed not to assume they meant 'seconds.'
Then again The MQB Rules say 'ten seconds' directly.
Maybe those who say it is a 'ten count' and not 'ten seconds' have been wrong all along?
As far as you know has any sanctioning body or State commission ever defined a "knockdown"?
I run into the "held up by the ropes" exception regularly but never anything more.
