I was a fan of Darnell Knox. I first saw him fight against John Jarvis on ESPN in 1985. He lost to Michael Nunn in 4 fighting for the NABF title and never fought again. He sadly died in 2004 of a brain tumor.

I always liked Josesito Lopez. Can't really explain why. You can say he guts but heaps of boxers have guts. I just enjoyed that kid's game I guess.

          - - Grade A class contender. Always comes to fight, even on short notice. Gabe Rosado another.

I agree, there was no 'extra' time. ...................Rockin'

                    - - Kirkland a classic misbegotten thug tapped into boxing to be mismanaged. Angulo and he produced FOY quality, but understand Angulo had been held for endless months in Homeland Security detention in some sort of bureaucratic mash up before being released to sign that emergency fight for his financial needs.

Kirk need some ref help to survive the early Angulo onslaught that has an interesting BS history connection.

He was with her for that fight. Always did better training with Wolfe anyway.
