I'm just curious about the extra time you claimed Holmes received? By the 8 count Larry had recovered and was bouncing on his toes ready to go again. That seems like a pretty fair reason for the ref to let the fight continue to me. Do you disagree?
- - Beat the count to lurch face first into the turnbuckle for a harder punch than put him down.

Had that been Ernie, yup, fight stopped.
So now you're saying he beat the count and didn't receive extra time, is that correct? Fact is it doesn't matter how hard he went down or that he lurched forward. He beat the count and went on to easily win.
- - Welcome to peruse the records until Time comes to Timbuktu. That's what you just said, not me.
Lar beat the count to head the turnbuckle, so what's the total count after the ref sorted out that snafu?
Don't matter when that's two KDs with one Snipes punch.
Boxing too complex for you.
You said the ref called Lar back for extra recovery time. I can absolutely prove there was no extra time, so why make this rubbish up? Again, the fact is he beat the 8 count and went on to win dominantly. Apparently counting to 8 is to complex for you. Tsk, tsk.

- - Took extra time to get him back ready to fight after he headed the turnbuckle. You never measured the count.
Had Juda had the ring IQ of Tunney he would have stayed down for an eight count, cleared his head. That fight wasn't over by a long shot
So often pride makes these fighter jump up when they're not ready. Buster Douglas is another example of the right way to handle a KD.
Other big mistakes include Carnera (Max Baer; first KD) and Willard (Jack Dempsey; first KD). Both would have been better served if they had stayed down for the full eight. Both took their worst beatings of the fight after jumping up too quickly after the first KD. Both were able to go for more rounds but were never in the fight again.
Patterson - Johansson I --> Patterson jumped up too quickly and subsequently went down six more times.
