The gloves back in marciano's time were as small as mma gloves.

Theres a BIG trajectory differance between MMA gloves and even 5 oz boxing gloves ,not just the weight but the damage smaller more compact and harder material does to the skin.

Considering he got on the inside against 49 fighters during his career I am positive he has a strategy to make up for the lack of a jab.

Yes I did. All of them. Other than the knockdown, Shavers didn't win a round against Holmes in two fights. He took beatings in both. Any fighter can get hurt or knocked down and that includes Marciano.

head to head, holmes beat marciano easily.

legacy wise, hes probably ahead too.

marciano is overrated hot garbage. all of his opponents were light heavies who moved up or shot old men

Yep. Archie Moore, Ezzard Charles, and Walcott cruised in yellow.
