I have quite a few fights on tape, Rock, and still have a bunch that I haven't even viewed yet. It's generous of you, but I'm just sharing what little I have on my computer with you or anybody else...
Hey, have you ever seen the great fight between Ron Lyle & Earnie Shavers?
If not, I'll upload that one for you.

If you have any Rocky marciano fights i'd love them
I lost all mine when my comp crashed in the latter part of April
=[
I love watching old fights
Old Fights = Prime Tyson and before
Even some new fights are ok to watch too
I don't expect you to upload your entire fight collection just ones that you like

And yeah, I have a couple of Marciano fights on here, I think. I know I have the first fight with Walcott (complete in three parts, I believe) and I'm sure I have one or two more of his on here.

Originally posted by YogiWell, that Lyle/Shavers fight is right up there with the Foreman/Lyle war as one of the best heavyweight fights of the 70's if you ask me, so I've already started the upload of it for you...

Hi, an welcome to this second round western conference playoffs, where Jack Dempsey will try to eliminate Jack Johnson tonight. Dempsey has a 3-2 game lead. dempsey was 196, and johnson was an excellent 203. one of our reporters interviewed johnson.
reporter: Well Jack how will you stave off elimination?
johnson: Well, I'll have to keep him away. That is the most important thing.
reporter: Do you think that you can pull this important win off?
johnson: I know I will. I'm conditioned well, and I feel great about this.
reporter: thank you, jack.
Well, looks like johnson's ready. Here is the tale of the tape.
Jack Dempsey
age: 28
height: 6'-1"
weight: 196
reach: 77"
record: 61-4-9 (49ko)
Jack Johnson
age: 32
height: 6'-1"
weight: 203
reach: 74"
record: 67-6-10 (49ko)
And now Jack Johnson can be seen by the crowd and he does not exactly get a heartfelt ovation. boos can be clearly heard. Johnson is wearing a black-hooded robe. johnson gets into the ring and warms up by practicing his evading footwork.
Jack Dempsey is now in the ring and the crowd erupts in applause. dempsey is wearing a black robe. here is our ring announcer for tonight, Michael Buffer!
michael buffer: Ladieeees aaaaand geeentlemen! presenting second round fights in the western Conference! introducing, from Galveston, TX wearing gray trunks with black trim, he stands six feet one inch, weighing two hundred three pounds, the Galveston Giaaant, Jaaack Joooohnsooon!(boos fill the arena) and his opponent, from manassah, CO, wearing solid black trunks also six one and weighs one ninety six pounds, the manassah mauler Jaaaaaaaaaaaaack Deeeeeempseeeeeeeeeeeeeeey!!!(the crowd cannot control itself as they scream louder and louder) Llllllllllllllllllets get ready to ruumblllllllllllllllllllllllllllee!!!
conn: You boys both know the rules of the Colorado State Athletic Boxing Commision. protect yourself at all times, and break clean. shakes hands, and come out fighting!
Round 1: Dempsey is bobbing and weaving and johnson is flatfooted. again, this seems to be a methodical battle for dempsey, and a tactical battle with johnson, as johnson lets dempsey carry the fight. dempsey is lunging with hard jolting shots, and johnson pulls back from them. johnson occasionally goes in with a right hand. dempsey is lunging and throwing shots, but johnson is able to either parry them, or tie dempsey up.
Round 2: Now dempsey realizes that johnson is on to his plan, so he is more cautious. dempsey moves in and out and johnson jabs a little. johnson looks pretty fast on his feet at the moment, as dempsey cannot seem to find the target. johnson is countering well with hard lefts and rights. johnson is boxing well, and tying dempsey up when necessary. johnson does well in this round.
Round 3: Dempsey is still in his croutch, looking for that one big punch to take johnson out of there. at this point, johnson is too fast for dempsey. johnson has learned well from his last series with max schmeling, for max also alot of the time fights from the panther-like croutch that dempsey impliments. Johnson is now landing solid rights to dempsey's face, but he takes them, and dempsey has his jaw tucked in to minimize the damage. johnson is scoring well, and dempsey keeps coming in, but everytime he does that, johnson is right there to hold him off with his superior strength.
Round 4: Johnson is in his stance, periodically lunging in with some hard shots that jarrs dempsey. dempsey still keeps coming in, and johnson throws a lightning fast fluury that sends dempsey to the canvas! dempsey is up at 5, but he takes the standing eight count. dempsey fights back though, landing his trademark left hook and johnson is a little shaken up, but when dempsey follows up, he still has enough strength to neutralize him in a clinch. johnson recovers, and so does dempsey from that knockdown. they fight on, and from then on, it's pretty even, but johnson's knockdown was enough for the judges to smile in his favor.
Round 5: Johnson is now carrying the attack, for dempsey is a bit tired from lunging at him all night, but dempsey holds strong. johnson is doing well, and holds his hands up in perfect position to protect his chin. dempsey just can't seem to penetrate his defense. dempsey however is not frustrated, but he presses on. johnson hurts dempsey again with a right, and now dempsey is hurt. johnson is now teeing off on jack's face, and gets him on the chin once, but jack survives the barrage and they continue until the round ends.
Round 6: Dempsey now goes out like a madman. he throws thunderous shots, only to be twisted up by johnson's powerful arms in the clinches. johnson is patient and methodical. he now has dempsey's face well swollen and on the verge of cuts. johnson is now hitting dempsey with good shots, but dempsey fights back landing two right hands and a left hook, but johnson takes them well, and he comes baqck with some shots of his own before the bell ending the round sounds off.
Round 7: Dempsey is still moving in, but with not as much of the tenacity that he exhibited in the earlier rounds. johnson realizes that dempsey is weary, and he capitalizes off of this. a jolting right uppercut and a left hook stuns dempsey. dempsey holds on, but johnson is again right on him with solid punches and dempsey goes down! dempsey is up at five, and johnson gets right on him with solid head punches and jolting shots to the midsection. dempsey is staggering right now, and johnson tries to finish, but the bell saves dempsey.
Round 8: Johnson seems to be in complete command. He wants Muhammad Ali badly, and will do the best he can to get to him. Dempsey gets a bit frustrated and he is now tired from all that lunging. Dempsey was a bit out of condition, while Johnson got in the best shape he has been probably in this whole tournament. Dempsey's shots lack that firepower it had in the earlier rounds. The Manassah Mauler is looking for that one big bomb to take Johnson out of the fight, but Johnson is just not there. Johnson ties dempsey up in the clinches, and is so strong that he is able to hold Dempsey's arms behind his back like he did with James Jeffries back in 1910. Johnson looks like he's having a field day and Dempsey looks like he just can't be bothered as the blood pours from his eye.
Round 9: Dempsey is bobbing and weaving, and johnson uses his jab a little. dempsey gets under his jab and lands his left hook, but johnson presses on. dempsey throws another left hook and johnson parries it, and gets in a left lead and an overhand right, followed by a left uppercut and a right cross, and dempsey is down again! he is up at eight, and johnson follows up with smashing combos and dempsey hits the mat four the fourth time. dempsey cannot beeat the count. The fight is over! Jack Johnson has forced this series to a decisive seventh game!
Michael Buffer: The winner by a knockout, at 1:33 seconds of the ninth round, Jaaack Joohnsooon!
The crowd is stunned. johnson smiles to the crowd and walks out happy.
Dempsey: I should have taken him more seriously.
Well, that does it for tonight. Again the final score is johnson-ko9! This is butterfly1964 saying, goodnight!!
